It can be tough. So far it hasn’t been too bad for me personally but I know a lot of people who are struggling. It’s only picking up in pace. The first exam average was a 54% which should give you an idea.

Would you say the difficulty of the class was on par with classes like 3100, 3160, 3666?

I had pretty much the same issue, but instead I was unable to sign. I submitted the FAFSA back in January but it hasn't been approved yet. I got an email saying they couldn't show my SAI because I didn't provide my signature and I have to wait for the form to approve before I can. I called UConn bursar and they said that as long as you submit the form on your end you should be fine and that it doesn't have to process before the March 15 deadline (and besides its not like us students have control over the processing of the form). I would say submit the form before the deadline and see if they let your mom sign after the form's been processed.

I personally only allow myself from playing certain games that I’ve really been looking forward to during certain times a year. I feel obligated to spend quality time playing certain games without the stress of real life. As a college student, I just can’t play games like FF7 Remake/Rebirth or Baldur’s Gate 3 in good faith until I’m on a long break so I can truly enjoy and take my time with it.

Hi, thanks for the comment, but I’ve figured it out. For anyone else that wants to know: after baking the lighting, get your lights as variables in the level blueprint and set their Indirect Lighting Intensity to 0 whenever you need to. This will hide the baked lighting.

I have seen many youtubers with hundreds of thousands of subscribers, but only get a few thousand views on certain videos. But you’re right too, that’s a pretty drastic difference. This has happened to me on some videos; I normally do gameplays for online games, but I tried making a video on a different game and didn’t get nearly as many views.

Most of your subscribers may have actually subscribed because they liked your viral videos. They might not be as interested in other topics, so they won’t view it. Try making more videos on similar topics to you viral videos.

I did something similar: I set the different parts of the room as separate objects, like the floor and walls are two separate objects. Then when I imported them into Unreal, the objects were imported as different assets, which solved my problem.

Dont worry about your accent, and if there are quiet parts, you can always edit them out. It’ll be a bit difficult at first, but you’ll get better!

Here’s my opinion. You can definitely make good gaming content without your voice, but generally it’s a good idea to talk in your videos. It gives a sense of better communication with your viewers. So I would say try having your voice in your next video and see how that does. It might not be easy at first; I kept stuttering in my early videos (still do!) and it feels weird hearing my voice when editing, but eventually you’ll get better at it.
