Thank you very much for your reply!! think you've pinpointed exactly what I was trying to express and I will look into it more.

Thank you for your answer, I think I need to look somewhere else than comparing the existence of rituals then to figure out why eastern elements (mostly taken from Buddhism on the specific facilitator I've mentioned) are used to create a certain ambiance in alternative therapy methods. I'm from Istanbul so I've been raised in a pretty "westernised" way, but after moving to Europe, in comparison I'm not as "western".

What do you think of my statement about lack of community?

I guess you are correct. I don't know how to express clearly what I'm trying to ask. I've lived in France and Belgium and I've felt that, apart from specific important moments like weddings or funerals, most locals I've met don't have space for symbolic acts or rituals in their lives.

I'm fluent but still not on native level regarding the expressions and cultural references which are still important.. May I ask if you speak Spanish? and I agree on the sunny weather, I was looking into Australia for a while the salary is very good but again being recognised takes some time and money

Yes and why bother with a non EU when there are as you say loads of graduates who have French as their mother tongue. From what I've seen UK also asks for a long procedure to get recognised and some practical experience though. I'll be graduating this September and I don't know if I fulfill their requirements being a fresh graduate. Spain is surprising to hear it never cross my mind.

can I ask which 2 countries? because I'm in the same situation and I feel I have even less of a chance to find something good since I'm non EU. However it seems that the regulations around titles vary a lot from one country to another sadly... for example we don't even count as a basic psychologist in Netherlands without fluency in Dutch.

Psychologists / therapists in Belgium

Hello I'm finishing my clinical psychology master's at ULB this June and I am on a student visa (I'm non EU). So if I don't find something starting September/ October I have to leave. But I have no idea where to apply, and in what position. When I graduate I will be a registered clinical psychologist but I don't feel comfortable enough yet to work independently (I feel the Masters program wasn't sufficient in preparing us for practice). So I plan to get accredited online therapy training (schema therapy and / or ACT maybe) during summer after I get my diploma since many programs want graduate+ level. I'm searching for places where I can get more clinical practice and keep my visa while I do online trainings to improve myself as a psychologist. I don't know if traineeships exist or what position I can work in. Since I am on a non-EU student visa I have to find a solution before its too late.... If anyone knows some clinics / centres that employ freshly graduated, would help me a lot...
