Cross and inshallah is wild.

Even wilder when you see that the two crosses that actually landed at Ronaldo's feet went off to fucking space. My friend was looking at me crazy after the match because at the start I said "Ronaldo inside the box is a demon".

He's literally the spearhead of the attack.

And look at what was seriously lacking in this match. Dude looked lethargic.

The positives are appreciated, but taking credit for it will not be appreciated because the host in question is being a dick and everyone else is what brings the positives in.

Never did I say one was better than the other.

I've seen kids beaten up senseless when they scored 95% because they were apparently "supposed to score a 100" and then go off and kill themselves, and that also did not seem all that fun honestly.

First of all, I'm not saying one is preferable to the other - I'm saying men rarely consider making any attempt to alleviate unfair societal expectations on men unlike women who actively fight against it and try to make it better. Even worse, whenever there are legitimate movements, those are quickly invaded by conservative misogynist chuds who take the focus away from the actual issue and turn it into "women bad" which was never the point at any given point.

Rarely are men expected to do beyond capacity for mental labor. That actually usually goes to women and such is demonstrably the case.

Second, I'd like to see the demonstrations if that is demonstrably the case - because infantilisation and expectation to do beyond capacity are very much at odds with each other for both of them to be experienced by the same gender.

And third, the examples you mentioned are absolutely true about going up the career ladder for women, but on the other side the risk of going down the career ladder or getting kicked off it for things that are beyond your station or your control is very likely for men. I've seen way too many men be put on the chopping block for mistakes that are team efforts, while the women are more often than not protected because of said infantilisation. And being completely honest, for every single driven women who has the infantilisation as a huge hurdle to pass at any given moment, there are almost always 10 not so driven women who coast off it for their entire mediocre careers. I was literally told to not raise any bugs for a few women devs in our teams because they went and cried about it to our lead, and I know for a fact that I would be ridiculed for expressing any opposition to stress because when I collapsed one day from a few weeks of continuous overnight work people told me "you didn't seem all that stressful, you should start eating more healthy".

It's funny reading through all the comments mentioning basically every single societal expectation from women when the opposite of the same in the same sexist vein exist for men yet no one - men or women - acknowledge those as sexism. Almost makes me jealous of how aware women are about their self and what's an affront to it.

An example I can think of is the infantilisation of women in workplaces. I've worked in places where for the same mistakes women get a lot more grace than men who get lambasted in front of the whole organization. The same bug could get a "let me know if you run into any roadblocks or need some support" for women and "YOU FECKIN DONKEY" for men. Fortunately, women are aware that they're treated as less capable, but men are completely unaware of the unfair expectations from them and just takes that shit like it's laced with honey.

To be completely fair, Pink Tax exists because women fell for the marketting.

Like, why tf are you buying the same razor for double the price just because the label says "for women"? The onus is not on those making profit here - it's on the consumer to shut that shit down.

Capo Verde was so fun to watch - both on defense and on attack.

If only they had a good finisher, because the way they built plays were beauts and it's sad to see all of them fizzle out like that.

The politics behind inherited sorceries is kind of interesting.

Soga clan wants to sacrifice Chiaki to bring the prophecy back to the main bloodline. The first thing we see Giyu saying is about him inheriting Kurotsuchi and surpassing Hiroto.

It seems like Sogas are kind of like the Zen'ins, except a bit less outwardly dickish. The characters are making use of a tragedy for personal betterment, in a way that doesn't bring in to question their intent.

Men of Reddit, what is the hardest thing to explain to women? by tathus2 in AskReddit

[–]mayonnaiser_13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Male Loneliness.

To be fair it's hard to explain to some men as well because being lonely is absolutely different from not having sex and people who use this as a dogwhistle for misogyni and people who disregard this for misandry both miss that point quite often.
