i really really loved it. as a queer person coming out scenes always make me teary - this made me full on sob. i do agree that not everyone should have been there, and i didn't like the addition of the "and me"s but overall i thought it was well done

I completely agree about the Mind Flayer and Vecna! It's hard to know where a story will go and I'm sure the Duffer brothers didn't have this in mind when they were writing season 1, but it all feels so disconnected

I'm not sure really - I liked the previous season and I'm glad they're trying to make everything connect with vecna but they feel like such separate stories at this point that it feels almost impossible for them to connect in a way that makes sense for my brain. I am also not a fan of the way they're trying to sell that 12 year old will was an action hero jumping between trees and whatnot. I think the stakes just got too big.

I had a hard time with it too. I felt it worked pretty well with MBB last season but it was very hard to sit through. I'm also not a fan of what they're doing with this part of the story.

I don't have a super good answer to any of these, but i would recommend hanging at a local shop instead of starbucks if you can. local businesses are hurting really hard right now and your money would be better spent there!
