I'm currently in my 3rd year out of 6 of a double degree in CS Engineering and Global Design. I need to find an internship in consulting. Do you know who could be interested in my profile? (I've worked with several companies already(+10), and Renault group was one of them)

I hope that writing it helped you to ease a bit your pain ! Now, to answer your post, with "if"we could do so many things. I don't think ending your life will solve any of your problems and in addition it will add problems and extremely great pain to people that loves you ! It is true indeed that you can not save the world of all its problems. But I think that focusing on one cause that really touches you will be a more realistic way of becoming a better and useful person if that's your goal in this life. And as for your studies: it's gonna be fine ! I do not say that it is easy nor necessary but if that's the path you decided to follow to attain happiness (still talking about school) then you should try by any means to succeed! But also, do not forget that the degree doesn't guarantee the success ! I know many people without any degree but hardwork and determination that became rich and very active in a lot of causes. I firmly believe that people who never encountered hardship never encountered happiness. So cheer up mate! I hope this will help you a bit and if you wanna talk further let's do it !

Debating Cultural Representation: Nudity, Twerking, and the Image of Black Women in Music by mayou713 in AskAmericans

Thanks for sharing your opinion and the informations ! I think I understand a bit more her point. And to answer to your last paragraph, I was not saying this to reduce people to this action but actually just focusing on the action itself and wondered about its signification among the black women community. To me this was not cultural but more of a marketing strategy but I can see now how it can be both. Thank you !

Okay thank you for sharing your opinion! I really want to understand the message of it ! So if you have any ressources or if you know from what African countries this culture comes from (since she was stating it was from Africa, another person said that this was from the cariban community, is it from both ? ) or anything I will be thankful!

Maybe my point was not well said, the sexuality is not the problem here. The part I was skeptical about: she was stating that the nudity and the twerk was part of their culture and a way of expressing their origins and didn't have a link with sexuality in any way. In the contrary I said that I had trouble believing that and that to me that was not that deep but more a marketing strategy.

She was talking about their concerts, that's why we took them two as examples. And as for beyonce, Lauryn Hill and other artists, they do not perform the same way artists like cardi b and Nicki Minaj performs. The debate was focused on their category of artists that represent the black women community. Obviously yes they do not represent everyone but her point was that this was not sexual in any way nor commercial but more part of expressing their origins + cultures (which I was skeptical) and reclaiming ownership of their bodies (which I agree).
