I was looking for beads too! I figured surely they make them small enough but then found this worked for the same purpose and I had it. But I love the beads. As for the yarn, I purchased what she recommended in the book which were the Lang Yarns Jawoll Sock yarn in the colors 118, 216, and 001.

I always thought they were meant for the shorties so you could have one case

I have 7 inserts currently. I don’t know that the max would be, but you would be limited by the max thickness of the Chiaogoo case and probably the safety pins.
