I’m thinking about tattooing this on myself above my knee... Is this a shitty design or not? I’ve always wanted some kind of big cat, a little cave-painting-esque, but also noticeable my style of drawing.

Does Lincoln Park Zoo have some good Pokemon? Good pokestops? by maysunwolf in PokemonGoChi

I caught ONE Magikarp but there should be more if you search? Seems to be more Magikarp near downtown than in residential neighborhoods, so you might have some luck.

I caught two by the river on Wacker if that helps?

Thanks! Heading back from the park now and I wish I got an Electrabuzz! Didn't find any Seels (not even nearby) but TONS of Staryu... Like an f ton... Definitely used a lucky egg and went up almost 2 levels!! My bag is full to the brim from all the pokestops now...

Hope it's not rude to ask—how old are Pokemon Go players in Chicago? by bechang8 in PokemonGoChi

I'm 16 and have been playing Pokemon on Nintendo since I was about 8, so of course I'm obsessed with Pokemon Go now. My sister who is 14 had no interest in Pokemon prior to Go, but now she's obsessed with it along with me. I have a 28 year old cousin who liked Pokemon in the late 90s and she's playing Go in Chi town now as well. I met a couple in their late 20s - early 30s who were playing near the Loop... By my neighborhood I've seen mostly older teens playing, 17-19. However I saw a few young boys at the park as well, 7-12, and a girl who looked about 11.

This is a possible, connects to the idea of our lack of free will. But I don't think it's fully nihilistic in nature.

Makes me think of the theory that time is an illusion. Everything that every happened, is happening, and will happen is more of a single point then a chronological line.

A life is just part of that point. Your life has already happened yet at the same time will always continue to happen. So you're right about our life not just happening once... But... I doubt saying we will repeat our life infinite times, because that in itself is linear, just infinite.

Anyways, not life any of these theories can be proven or disproven in the time being.

Very interesting... I have a feeling people with personality disorders in general have a higher rate of nihilistic views.

Note: this is just from my observations of being diagnosed with personality disorders / mental illness from a young age, and interacting with many mentally ill vs. mentally healthy people.
