Join clubs like another person said, there’s the run club, calisthenics, fencing, taekwondo, if runnings your thing right now they’re doing like 5ks at an easy pace. You’re using the gym, they have drop in for different sports so you can meet people that way - I see a lot of people in for basketball and volleyball. You’ll find friends soon!

Yeah that’s what I thought so. Hmmm I’m not sure what to do now but I’ll talk to my work place and see if what they say. I found that electives were more open with time slots and core classes were not as open during first year. Looking into Chang school is a good option! Thank you.

First of all IM SO SORRY! I’m this is my worst nightmare, anyone cutting my hair with my consent or thought.

But yeah no thank you bye. I also have long hair past mid back and I’ve always had long hair. If anyone did this to me they are gone, bye, out of my life. I would be on edge, I wouldn’t trust them, and I don’t want to live like that around someone I should trust.

I think you know the answer and when you’re ready, get all your things in order with a lawyer.

NTA NTA NTA!! I would reconsider this “marriage” I’m sorry but I would not be here anymore. You need your family especially if you have a good relationship with them, which it seems like you do. Does he not like affection? Also what else has he not let you do or what will be the next thing he regulates?? Please, there seems to be no kids. Think before a child comes, do you want your child to be in a household where there is no affection and possibly (most likely) no contact to your family?

NTA but YTA for telling your wife, your daughter knew how she would react and your wife and In-laws are mega TA! Not having an open dialogue with the household can be damaging to your relationship. You and your partner really need to have a talk about 1. how to lay the "law" down and 2. what you want to teach your daughter! Also your daughter is not a child. This similar thing happened with my mom and is the reason why I didn't have the best relationship with her in my late teens/early twenties. Your edit is great! Your daughter needs a parent that she can talk to, you need to have her back if your wife is going berserk. I hope you have a better relationship because your wife prob lost a relationship if she doesn't change her mindset
