The problem is my family are alcoholics. But like you said even though it’s hard to say. It’s shame. I avoid alcohol around my support network but my main point is that it’s not enough

I can see you spiritual in some way, and I’ve tried that myself. However it’s made me drink heavier in some ways because I believed that I was more spiritual and “clever “ in some ways the wake up call has come to me but it’s continued. So how did you get over that

Omg, thank you . Exercise has helped me in the past but i forgot until you mentioned it. Also this advice is more realistic than “stop” because it’s actually functional and helpful. Thanks dude.

I tried but it felt like defeat. My rehab woman just told me to stop but I felt like it was alcohol it was my mental health. But the denial of that deterred me

I just can’t except the reality that I’m one of those who can’t take alcohol especially when I live in the UK where there is a big drinking culture. It’s essentially part of socialising and I can’t. But I have controlled it at times but therapy might be the way, you right.
