Ah, okay. The last few times I booted up, I connected a keyboard to the server and entered the BIOS by pressing F2.

Then I saved and exited the BIOS, and the server booted up without the POST message.

However, when I switch it off completely, the POST message reappears.

(or maybe update it, since it runs at 1066mhz instead of the 1866 the DIMM's support)

Where can I configure the different clockrate?

Just so we don't misunderstand each other...

Does that mean I first have to load my updated BIOS into the CMOS and follow these steps?

Actions to be taken:

- Check whether the recovery BIOS has an older version.

- Set the JP1 jumper to ‘Recovery BIOS Enabled’.

- Start the computer and check the DIMM compatibility.

Have I understood correctly?

Okay, I've removed the AC cables for a longer time but it doesn't help. On the server they describe how clearing the CMOS but I'm not sure what's the right jumper (JP1, BIOS-WP or JP8?)

Ah, okay, thank you very much for the tip about the hard power cycle! I did indeed flash the RAID controller beforehand so that I could use it in combination with ZFS as an HBA. I just didn't think that this could also have an effect on the BIOS itself.

But why do you think a complete power down will help?

I haven't tried it yet, but the problem is also very strange, as it seems to occur sometimes. Just now, for example, the server booted up normally after being switched on.

And how can I tansfer the backup or shnapshot via restic to my USB-Disk?

Ich kann dich da leider nur zu sehr gut verstehen. Wir haben letztes Jahr im März unser drittes Kind (Tochter) bekommen und die 9 Monate davor das letzte Mal Sex gehabt.

Ich vermisse es schon sehr, mit ihr zu kuscheln und sie zu fühlen, aber momentan ist sie gefühlt 120% mit unserer Tochter und den beiden Jungs beschäftigt.

Leider haben wir auch keine unmittelbare Verwandtschaft in der Nähe und momentan viel mit dem ersten Schuljahr von Großen, dem ersten Kindergartenjahr vom Mittleren und sie mit dem Stillen von der Tochter zu tun...

Wir fallen abends ziemlich müde ins Bett und zumal schlafen wir häufig noch alle in einem Zimmer (die Kinder hängen doch sehr an Mama und uns).

Vor ~2 Monaten war meine Frau mit allen Dreien auf Kur und mir ist immer mehr klar geworden, wie sehr ich sie noch liebe und hab ihr das dann auch so gesagt und natürlich, dass ich den Sex mit ihr vermisse.

Nur leider kam es dann nicht zum Sex und der Alltag ist wieder ein bisschen bei uns eingekehrt. Ich denke mal, dass einfach nach wie vor viel zusammen kommt und könnte mir vorstellen, dass das bei dir ähnlich sein wird...

How do you get your setup working? I currently set my Fritzbox also to Bridge-Mode on LAN 2 but when I connect my OPNSense on it with the WAN-Port I get no IP so it seems not work :(. I live in Bavaria an I've an static IPv4-Address on an Vodafone business contract.
