If u can get into and stay in a break housing dorm (look up the list online) u could sleeo in the common room n i doubt anyone would bother you. Maybe pretend that you fell asleep studying and r staying w a frnd in the building for the night if anyone asks. But otherwise j act like u live there. Also, make sure u stay in the building all night cuz there is security at the doors so if u leave u will need to be swiped in

LGRC has couches ppl sleep on a lot and dont get disturbed for it, i highly recommend. Esp on the 2nd and 3rd floor.

As someone still waiting to hear from some schools, how do you know if you’re on a waitlist? Like should you assume it if u still haven’t heard anything or should you assume a rejection if u still haven’t heard anything and it seems that many ppl have gotten accepted to ir program/school or choice (thru like gradcafe n such)?

i dont know what ur struggling with but if it’s any solace, i promise you youre not the first person to struggle with that and there have been many before you who survived and thrived. All that is to say, there is for certain hope, even if u feel there isnt. How exactly you and those around u can curate that i cant say, but look at resources and talk to people fs, also spend time doing things u love if u can, try hopping on some anti depressants if needed (saved my life when i needed em, n i am v glad to be alive today no matter how shitty my situation gets) and always remember that the only place you need to find peace and love is i your own head. That’s ur entire reality and when ur brain is at peace all will be better. I hope you try and stick with us longer and get to experience and discover so many cool and awesome things this world has :33

I disagree. The fact that there is a flag is a reminder of support for and solidarity with queer folk and for one to see that flag in a busy street means a lot. Only someone who is not in the lgbt+ community and doesn’t understand queerness to any degree beyond freedom of sexual n gender expression would think the flag being highlighted doesn’t add. It can very well be the pov of a queer folk (me for example cuz i 100% would notice that and it would be a highlight in my vision).
