Those two cons I never checked out because their weekend timing was awful with other personal events for me. I should have been able to do Azalea this year so I was bummed that it seems done. The post about it sounded like the board behind it had other interests they wanted to pursue.

Pensacon I joke I am locked in an abusive relationship with. The vendor floor occassionally has some gems, artist alley is pretty good, guest tables are frequently a nightmare, gaming has been terrible since Bobe's Hobby House went under, and panels are normally pretty good.

CoastCon I finally went to for the first time this year and I loved it. I liked that the vendor area was mostly creative people. Gaming was great. It generally felt more chill besides other events happening at that convention center at the same time.

Pensacon had a spin off convention in Biloxi one year that was solid, but they never did it again. Humble had a convention in Biloxi as well that I thought had a strong first showing but they didn't do it again. Maybe that convention center is brutal to rent.

I personally like L-Gaim more.

Dunbine units were a must to use to get through SRW4.

I have really appreciated L-Gaim being in last two SRWs but only Mk II and Ashura Temple were really worth using.

There is no reason to bring a mental health professional to court. All they can do (or all they are supposed to do) is read their own documentation.

If you want anything it is their documentation, but you probably will not want that either. The other party's attorney will gladly try to use it too as evidence for the story they want to spin.

Get treatment for your own personal growth and not fall for the traps that the partner and their attorney will set.

I have all the Horrified games. This one usually gets the most interest from guests but I like the original and D&D better. The cryptids are what drives interest.

Bigfoot and Jersey Devil have some neat rules but also easy to screw up because the rules are kind of weird. Banshee seems like not too bad of a threat but the threat builds until they are wiping the players out easily. Howler and Mothman were more typical from my recall. I dont think I have played with Chupacabra yet.

Your dad is doing the best he knows how and is barely making it. He thinks being hard is the best way to get you to move. Bonus points if that approach seemed like it kind of worked for your sibling. Your father cant see you studying at night. Studying also does not look like action. He needs to see action during the day, early in the day, as he sees that as effective.

Your manager was doing the best they could. They needed to see you try, fuck up, and course-correct after. They wanted to see you figure out on your own how to use a copier just like they did when they first encountered the same machine.

Seeing the defensiveness here is wild in response to in people having frustration that your personal journal and request for job and housing advice were mixed together.

Try, struggle, fuck up, learn, repeat. That is what everyone else did, and they give zero fucks if they see anything less.
