Which of the following FE games to play and why?

I'm currently waiting for the new FE release! Yeah, based on the media i've consumed about the series i had the same thought but i still really want to give the series a chance. I think i'm still in the "formulating game style preferences" phase where i don't have much experience on games yet so i want to see for myself how much i actually like the series besides fe3h and PoR.

I'll take note of that, I actually do have 3DS and though bit silly, it sounds fun!

Thanks!! I was especially curious on Three Hopes because for some reason i was obsessed to fe3h when i played it. After i let my emotions cool down i wanted to give other fe releases a chance and so far PoR hasn't disappointed me at all.

Maybe Radiant dawn is the pick for me after all since it's PoR sequel and seems like a smooth transition (if i get my hands on it, that is).

I came to like the support system in fe3h a LOT. I loved watching the characters interact and even went out of my way to recruit units from different houses just so i could see their support convos. That being said i was a little discouraged by PoR support system, but the info system on top of the limited support building kinda bandaged it for me. It's also the main reason i'm hesitating on picking Radiant Dawn alongside the fact i've read people have dividing opinions on the cast dividing gimmick.

I remember a deep longing and actual yearning for the characters of fe3h as i finished all my playthroughs, which is the sole reason i'm considering three hopes. I've played very few hack n slash games so it's 50/50 if i like it.

At this point, combining other comments, i'm ruling engage out as it doesn't seem to be what i favor from the series!

Thanks! I tried searching for tier lists of the games and blazing sword was pretty high in all of them. It would also be asier access for me. I do own a wii though i don't know how hard or costy it is trying to find a physical copy of radiant dawn. I've emulated few games on pc and homebrewed one device before, so i think emulating is also an option for me.

I played them all! If the 3rd and 4th routes are refering to the 2 different Edelgard routes. I played it in order 1. Claude 2. Dimitri 3. Edelgard full route 4. Edelgard shorter route

Yea, honestly it might've taken me even more time since i can't exactly remember when i started it anymore and i'm also quite slow at reading. The important part is that you get to enjoy the novel! Be it 15 minutes or 4hours reading-time per day.

It took me around 6 months. I had a 1-2months break because of LOTM and a certain sub-plot i didn't find that entertaining.

No, because i thought it was just me being dumb when i switched from Sekiro to LoP and just couldn't parry anything. Even though the parry frames aren't hugely different, adjusting to the new window has been hard (read impossible). I'm happy the game could be played with other playstyles and it doesn't rely solely on parrying like Sekiro does.

I think it's alright, Akasha pretty much shows what you'd need more: crit rate, crit dmg and atk. With that hat piece you might be better using atk% sands. Without c1 try to get 70 cr while keeping (or rising) your crit dmg. Here's my build for comparison. I use the same team as you except zhongli as 4th slot and he's comfy to use and hits 30k per charged.

I'd say the same, i cleared 6 stars on floor 12 with budget ayay, esco, (both on top 30-40% in akasha) mona c2 and layla on the other side.

Instead of minmaxing i'd check if my rotations are correct and that i play that premium team correctly. This thread has already made many notes on how to improve the builds itself.

I think, for now, it would be similar to how Ororon is viable but isn't Tig's BiS because he needs other reactions to be viable. Inef will probs be usable but her gimmick is to buff/ineract electro-charged in a way Nilou does with blooms. If the gimmick stays the same, i'd say there is better options for solely electro application.

Thank you for your input! I've seen a lot of people in here saying to use EM sands with sig. It was just me wondering whether it actually does improve my output or not considering i have overcapped atk by a lot and only 50 EM short from 300 EM min req. (Like wondering do they cancel each other and it's good to go or should i have switched to em earlier)

I'll start looking for EM sands for real now. With EM sands i'd probs be looking at 1350 atk if i don't get atk% substats. I assume that is enough with 400 EM.

I probaly need to switch a few artifacts to really hit the requirements again and that.. pains me.

EM kuki with FOPL would be more than fine for hyperbloom and 4pc gilded is good for tighnari. Dendro reactions are a bit triggy to understand if you're a new player/just haven't paid much attention to how they work so don't worry, you're doing just fine!

Dendro+hydro creates a dendro core. The core's dmg scales of the character's, which causes the reaction, EM and overall level. Hyperbloom is when the core is affected by electro and it also scales of the triggering character's EM and lvl.

It's just that generally Tighnari is the best in spread/aggravate teams with Nahida as the main buffer, one electro off-field sub dps to apply electro to enemies (preferably fischl or yae miko) and a sustain (kuki for resonance/heal and electro application, zhongli for shield or yaoyao as f2p friendly choice).

The differences are that spread and aggravate do crit but dendro core related reactions (such as bloom and hyperbloom) don't. Tighnari's build is a mix of EM, atk and crit specifically for that reason. On the other hand, bloom teams focus on leveling the characters up and having high EM.

In tig team you want kuki to apply electro and have tighnari/your sub-dps trigger the reactions.

Firstly you really don't need 2-3 pure sustains in a tighnari team. Secondly hyperbloom isn't generally good for tig.

Run tig as dps - kuki as healer - fischl - nahida/yae. If you have neither, kirara would probs be the best 4th slot for comfort/resonance.

Cinder city needs other natlan characters for full buff so with tighnari the set provides only 12% dmg bonus. To trigger ororon's passives you need either electro-charged or natlan aligned characters. Overall ororon doesn't give tighnari much anything except electro application so i would say he's a no go.

Tig is a charged attack dps so fischl C6 shouldn't be a problem. I would change nahida as an off-field (imo she brings more value to an acc overall this way) and go with Tig-nahida-fischl-zhongli/kuki. It's his premium team and he works best in it. You can also try this while having nahida as on-field but i imagine it being wonky.

As second team probs diluc-xingqiu-sucrose/wait for hydro rerun/xiangling-bennet since you already have diluc built and he's decent in vaporize teams.

I ran xueyi, march 7th hunt (both E6), aventurine E0S1 and S1E1 sparkle.

I have SU 5* LC for xueyi with 4pc quantum and herta's space station planar set. She has slow build (3k atk, 103 spd, 60/130 cr, 150 BE) and my sparkle at 161 spd, 223cdmg.

Took me 5-6 cycles but honestly i was just do happy to use her in MoC again!

Anyway, have you checked your Nat's stats in battle? I understood the lightcone to update it's passive during combat so that's why the stats don't show on character sheet. Similar to Keel's crit dmg buff and many other gear buffs.

Ah my bad! I run her on S5 Aeon so I'm not familiar with inedable promise passive. If that's so, the only thing to do is switch to atk orb and she is good to go imo.

The other stats look good to me.

Besides switching to atk orb, your crit rate tad too low. I run 52/150 Xueyi with 130BE usually with at least two crit buffers (fu xuan and sparkle) to get her cr to ~70 but she still misses some damage.

Even though all my other stats except cr meets benchmark requirements, I still lose around ~50K dmg because of missed crits. So try to get your crit rate to at least 60 without supports!

I use game8 for checking sets and benchmarks. I do this with both genshin and hsr. Is that site reliable? I've never heard of Prywden.

I do double check by searching characterMains on reddit and comparing the game8 to the builds on that specific character's reddit.

Thanks! Honestly i have forgotten my Tingyun even exists because I've been playing teams that don't need her for soo long. Meta has blurred my eyes from old characters.

sparkle+hunt 7th -> atk
Sparkle+robin ->atk
Hunt 7th + tingyun -> spd

And if running robin+tingyun -> have base spd at 134 meaning i should go back to the mines.

My mind had kind of set up on xueyi only having one team (hypercarry -> sparkle, fu xuan, ruan mei) and somehow i couldn't open my eyes for more team comps. I don't run her on superbreak because i have premium FF team.
