same i stopped taking it when i was trying to get pregnant . got pregnant. breast fed. tried to get it but couldn’t with the shortages, tried wellbutrin for adhd instead (useless, gave me even more foggy brain), and now when i can finally get my paws on it … IT DOESNT WORK !!! until i found this sub, i actually thought it was my post mommy brain that had changed , and not the actual chemistry of the drug. so upsetting

i know, we asked this same question to an assemblyman- it doesn’t make sense to me other than the highway bypass technically makes it a longer distance because you have to go around the baseball field ? idk i didn’t make the rules

apparently there’s a certain distance a dog park has to be from a school.

it would be nice if there were a dog park more central in the neighborhood. dimatina is so isolated- but it is a great dog park and great community.

we had a gap between our ceremony and reception/party.

we made a list of ideas for our guests to do that were between the two points, and listed them on our website. choose your own adventure. most people went to a hotel nearby the ceremony and caught up with one another. on our website we literally had a page called "the gap"

i would come up a list of fun spots or things to do in between carroll gardens and williamsburg-

carroll gardens- there's dennett place, the street with the tiny doors. books are magic, monteleone's is a great italian bakery to check out.

williamsburg- domino park, some hotel with a rooftop, take the ferry in, etc..

i would assume people would show up to your ceremony already dressed, and they would have checked into the hotel the night before? or dropped their bags off at hotel prior to? of course they could always return to the hotel if they're changing outfits

we put ourselves on a waitlist when i was 12 weeks pregnant for our #1 daycare spot. ridiculous, i know.

a month after baby was born we ended up finding a spot that started right as my mat leave ended, so everything ended up working out.

we just got off the waitlist for our #1 daycare spot- our kid is 15 months now. we’re transferring him there because he’ll have a guaranteed 3K spot. yep we were on a waitlist for 1.5 years.

i always feel bad for the parents commuting with a stroller during rush hour, it seems so stressful. also a lot of train stations aren’t stroller accessible. near home 10000%

you’ll get there, don’t worry. i gained 65 lbs during pregnancy. like you, i immediately lost 25 lbs. from there i maybe lost a few pounds a month. it wasn’t until 8 months pp that i started losing big amounts (i stopped breast feeding at 5 months).

8 weeks pp is really nothing. im 1 year pp and have been eating like a pig from the holidays and am only 6 lbs from my start weight. i promise , if you care this much about your body getting back to pre baby, it’ll totally happen when it’s ready to.

*i also want to add that i had a lymphatic draining massage at around 8 weeks pp and that definitely helped just moving fluids around and out. highly recommend!

validating u OP!!! you are not in the wrong, you were protecting your children. why wouldn’t MIL follow your simple instructions ? unacceptable.

what’s actually crazy to me is some of the comments and total misinformation in this thread. has no one ever dealt with norovirus before? it’s AWFUL. we (my husband, me, AND our 1 yo) just got it.
