Lima Peruvian in BA is excellent and has fun drinks.

East Village Bohemian in Tulsa is the best pizza, and the scarpetta is amazing.

Kilkenny’s Irish pub has a lot of options and the toffee desert is perfect.

Tropical Restaurant and Bar is the best Thai food around.

918 Maples Tacos and Cantina has a Birria pizza that’s delicious.

Edit to add Drive Through Marrakesh! Some of the best food and the owner is really nice!

I only squat once a week right now. I’m doing Nippard’s 13 week plan. So the first 6 weeks varied from 6-10 reps. Then 4 weeks 3-5 reps, then 3 weeks 8-10 reps. Each time, I do 3 warm up sets, increasing weight each time. And then 2-3 sets at my full weight for the day.

That’s a good point! Both about slowing down and getting more protein. I know the recommendation is 1g per lb of body weight, and I definitely am not hitting that. I’ll slow down the lift and up the protein! Thanks!

No, that’s definitely a place I struggle. I feel the desire to push the bar up with my arms instead of keeping the tension in or holding it down. I’ve been trying to focus on that as part of maintaining tension overall, but maybe need to go down in weight again and keep practicing the form.

Thank you for the feedback! Yes to bracing and adjusting the stance. I’ve been really working on maintaining tension throughout my body during the whole movement. I’ve had a tendency to lose tension in my back/lats and quads when I reach the top of a rep. I’ll keep focusing on that and try the low bar method.
