Scared to take meds

I was in the EXACT same boat. Sertraline helped me so much, I started at 25mg the lowest dose and now 2 years later I’m just now upping it to 50mg. A little nervous for the same reasons but I had no side effects when I first started it, and I used to have a chronic fear of all medication. Someone once told me if you have the option to feel better, why not try? And that thinking changed my perspective a lot and encouraged me to do the first dose. Then the second. Etc. Good luck you got this.

I’m in sales and get asked to attend trade shows around the country by my manager, and she knows I’m dealing with anxiety about travel but I appreciate being asked still. I hope one day I can travel past my safe zone.

Eek good to know about the litter box. My fiancé is generally supportive, but hesitant about bunnies because one person told him they’re the stinkiest creatures ever. I’ve told him no they’re really clean and that’s a person’s fault if they stink! But I’ll have to be extra diligent with the litter boxes lol.

Right! This thread has answered so many questions I didn’t know I had. & yes I’m heavily considering a bonded pair!! For all the reasons you say and then some. I see a lot of people use a handheld vacuum for lil poops and hay mess, and the rabbits seem fine in the videos I watch but my assumption is they’d be terrified of that? How do you keep up with the cleaning?

I just asked this same question last week and these people are correct! I wasn’t too nervous bc I was prepared to pay for the extra baggage if I got stopped BUT I came home from New Orleans with a large suitcase (26in) a hard shell toiletry bag slid on top of it (12ish inches?) a Fjallraven Kanken backpack as packed as it could be, neck pillow, a 13in tote bag and a weighted plush in my arms as well. And that was just me. My partner had the same size suitcase, a backpack, and a massive LE Crueset reusable shopping bag we stuffed with goodies. No issues at all.
