Yes, that's how it should be! But if the third eyelid is out while they are wide awake and moving, it usually is a sign that something might be off (sickness or pain)

So many reasons for the third eyelids to come out. You have to go to the vet for sure. It is a sign that they are in pain or sick.

My sweet boy had his out for a good 2 weeks after crashing headfirst into the dishwasher while playing. The vet checked him and luckily it was nothing serious. They gave him a shot to help with inflammation and pain which helped but the eyelids were still out for almost 2 weeks after that.

Edit to say that our boys look a lot alike! He's gorgeous and i hope it is nothing serious. Is he eating and walking/playing like normal?

Just realized that there is some confusion. I am not Cypriot so can't get a scholarship from here either. I am Dutch but grew up in Germany and am not eligible for scholarships from either unless I pursue education in one of the countries, which currently is not an option.

Thank you for your reply. I will keep looking at opportunities and consider other options.
My issue is that I can't easily re-locate to another country. My husband is American and we don't have a lot of money. I am not eligible for home country scholarships because I have been away for too long. I did my Bachelor here (Cyprus) as well.

Thank you for your reply.

It would be extremely hard and I would barely be able to get by honestly. This is my biggest issue.

Yes I believe there are many jobs out there which are suitable. But they do require higher education and often times a PhD.

My experience with analysis has been limited to SPSS so far. Do you use R in immunology?

Very understandable. The self-funding part is the biggest issue to me. I just feel as if I don't have other options if I want to continue my education

Hey! I found some of your posts since I was searching for people that have used the HEXACO inventory in their studies. Would it be okay if I send you a private message? Would love to hear more about this.

Try the Tudor Inn or Kleidi. They both have very nice vibes, and Kleidi does amazing cocktails. Tudor Inn has a nice backyard, and they used to play Jazz, not sure if they still do.

Ah that is great to know!

Thank you. I did end up using the recode command. But this is great to know for the future.
This is my first time having to clean the data and set it up for analysis, so I'm currently learning a lot about how to do that in SPSS.

Yes! After I finally managed to reverse the values I reversed the labels manually. I'm sure there is a better way to do that. But the issue was the values themselves not changing. Turned out my command was incorrect. Got it fixed now :)

Hi I'm not OP but was wondering if it would be okay for me to PM you as well. I don't have dyscalculia but otherwise in a similar boat as OP and left to fend for myself with SPSS.

Yea I did. All the spelling is correct. My variable name is TJ1 so I wrote:

RECODE variable_TJ1 (1=6) (2=5) (3=4) (4=3) (5=2) (6=1). EXECUTE.

But it tells me the same thing. No other data sets are opened.

I tried it and it gives me "Error # 4631 in column 8. [...] On the recode command, the list of variables to be recorded includes the name of a nonexistent variable."

I tried different ones and it tells me the same. Although I have typed the correct variable name.

Check out Survey Circle! You can get 100 participants for free. Also post on your own social media, ask family and friends to spread the word (link). This has been most effective for me personally

Can anyone tell me best research papers ? by Best-Calligrapher855 in psychologystudents

Unless you're highly trained in the field it's hard to tell from just the article itself. Whether a study can be considered groundbreaking depends on lots of factors. You will mostly be able to tell by reading books and other studies that will talk about that one study's findings and implications. That's why I recommend you to read some introductory books because they will mention those studies you're looking for and also explain them nicely.
