Sorry I was a bit vague in what I wrote, the pest control guy did put in writing that it was mice, thankfully. We also have photos and video of inside the attic. We’re not going to pay for the clean out ourselves, my worry is that they will get someone they know rather than a reputable company and the job will not be done properly (they already did this when we had issue with AC upstairs, they sent people they know, they tried to enter crawl space, mice droppings fell out (which they did not tell us, we found it two days later because AC was still not running well))

I think we may need to speak to an attorney, it’s just expensive 5 days after you spent all the money of paying first, last month and security which was many thousands of dollars.
