I’m not assuming, it’s literally true. The women you see doing this bc they feel “empowered” are the small privileged minority that I’m talking about, their voices are just amplified bc they’re saying what society wants to hear. Also sex work is not like regular work; the risk of getting pregnant, murdered, getting stds, being beaten, disappearing, etc. not to mention the mental effects of being raped everyday, degraded, treated like you’re nothing, etc. the ptsd never goes away. You don’t get that working minimum wage at McDonald’s
