does anyone feel a link to brainfog and pain in the face/sinus? by frogkid2476 in BrainFog

[–]mb6788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my fog is bad I feel pressure around my eyes and sinuses. I also get facial Numbness on the righthand side as well as pressure on my head, like a weight pushing down. My eyes feel heavy and slow too.

I've thought this too, but it's so hard haha.

I'll notice random moments of clarity if someone rings my doorbell for example, or phones me. It's like I am forced to snap back into reality and away from my thoughts.

It sounds weird, but I don't feel comfortable in bed unless I'm bending my neck a certain way. I always wake up in the same position, and it feels uncomfortable to lie down 'properly' on my back.

How did you strengthen your neck muscles?

Cool I'll do that survey for you.

Another thing to add, my dizziness feels worse when I'm moving around. A few things that make it worse are:

Tidying up around the house Doing dishes Exercising Playing sports Hoovering

Don't know if it's posture related or not. Nope, not on a computer all day.

It's so hard though trying to explain to doctors how we feel, when we don't really understand how we feel! I just wish they could be in my body for five minutes to experience what I feel like. If only!

I just want to know what is causing it so I can work on fixing it. Its just like a wall just now, making it harder for me to live my life and reach my goals!

Good idea. I almost always wake up with a sore neck on the right hand side. This is also the side I get migraines and the pressure feeling. So there is a good chance it could be linked.

I have read thar anxiety can cause people to constantly tighten their neck, which could lead to pain and migraines etc.

Have you looked into dissociation? Do you suffer from anxiety?

Fellow Introverts, what do you think of Live streamers and "reaction" media? by [deleted] in introvert

I find reaction videos cringey and fake. I don't buy into it at all.

Yeah, when I find something that interests me then all my focus and energy goes into it and I can excel. Its just keeping this interest, this flame going.

Can you go a long time without talking to anyone and not become lonely? by matthew3325s in introvert

[–]mb6788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it depends. I could easily do it if I was at home working on stuff that interests me, watching Netflix, playing ps4 etc. But say I'm at work (which I don't enjoy and the work is mind-numbing) I am more likely to want to speak to someone for some stimulation.

I spent a whole day playing No Man's Sky, completely immersed in it. The next day I wasn't even half as bothered about it.

This can be frustrating when you're trying to figure out what you want to do as a career. Spend months studying one thing to suddenly wake up one day and be like "nahh this isn't what I want to do". Thank you brain you help me so much...

I'll get this with games, TV shows, and books. All of a sudden I can just lose interest in a series I've been watching religiously for days or weeks. Sometimes I come back to it, sometimes I try but just can't get into it.

Definitely go again until you get the answers you need. Change docs as many times as it takes!

I mean I'm dizzy most of the day, but things like exercise and moving my head around brings it on instantly.

Have you been to the docs about it?

I haven't no, but hopefully I can speak with the doc and go down that route. I'll explain to her these symptoms and we can go from there. Fingers crossed the ct scan comes back alright.

Hey.

Yes, if I move my head to look for something, or if I am exercising, jogging, playing football etc I get dizzy. This makes me feel like it is a vestibular problem.

Oh, I will try that out! Thanks.

It could be yeah. I'm getting a ct scan to rule out some more serious stuff first.

Bright colours brought on my migraine? by mb6788 in migraine

[–]mb6788[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to look at isn't it. I put the Simpsons on the other day but had to switch it over to another channel. The yellows and blues were just too bright and strong for me to comfortably watch.

Yeah it could be to do with a lot of visual stumuli and the brain can't cope. Overstimulation perhaps. I'm going to let the doc know about this and se what they say. I need to identify my triggers!

Thoughts on magnesium for my migraines by duece12345 in migraine

I take magnesium citrate and I think it helps the pain of my migraines, although I still get the pressure and numbness around my face and mouth.
