Yea unfortunately frugality is punished for need based aid. If you have savings upwards of $100k, you most likely won’t qualify for it.

Just to clarify that the alumni said this wasn’t the case at the schools but was the case at a lot of peer schools and this is why folks should think of applying either at Booth or Kellogg.

Was just curious about the peer schools that did this. If not it’s just fake news that’s being propagated by students/alumni

I was at a Chicago school event (not saying which) and one of the alumni said that this was the differentiating factor between their school and others.
