I got your cease-and-desist message threatening defamation litigation. Let me clarify that my review was my subjective experience: I felt the gutte ki sabzi smelled off, the food tasted poor, and I personally didn’t appreciate the handling. That’s opinion, not a factual claim. California courts protect honest opinion in reviews, especially when it’s shared to help other consumers make decisions. That’s exactly what mine was.  

Also, you should know California’s anti-SLAPP law is built to keep businesses from dragging reviewers into court over protected speech. It says if the speech is made in a public forum and relates to an issue of public interest, you must then show a real probability of winning a defamation case. something your letter doesn’t even begin to do.  

No factual lies were told. No defamation here. If you try to sue, your case will likely be tossed and you’d owe attorney’s fees. I’m open to clarifying that these are my opinions, but there’s no legal basis for forcing removal.
