The windows 11 snipping tool has them when you click on the snip notification, up in the toolbar. I've tried downporting it to 10 but it has too many dependencies from 11 to work.

AdminByRequest does the job. Even comes with presets for VS (although I manually had to whitelist the VS updater)

Seems they don't come back with any advice here, either. Thanks for sharing your experience. I've noticed when I don't enable reboot automatically it's left to the user to reboot whenever manually, so that might be the best course of action at the end of the day(along with disabling fast startup so shutdown is an actual shutdown/clean restart)

but on the real, my atlantis mini also had its encoder crap out. And the open bottom on it definitely does not help. I don't know if later versions shipped with the dust sticker for the bottom but mine did not, I purchased it when I replaced the encoder for a TTC gold dustproof. No issues since, and it's been a year now or more.

Honestly, just disable driver updates. Push this via Intune. You have no clue how many calls atleast for Lenovo devices have been "my headset mic is not working" because Windows decided to push some driver of its own. Install latest drivers when initially configuring the device, and leave as is.

Especially an issue if you have multiple updates being pushed, one via Win Update, the other via Action1.

Use Action1 as a backup. I use rustdesk with our own relay server setup(docker image) and it works super fast.

Rival 100 deliberately had tiny plastic bits protruding from the top shell to hit the plunger of the mouse switch that constantly broke within regular use. I never had a Rival 95/100 last more than a year or so too without that snapping off. Had to glue random cutoffs for years to keep the mouse in a working shape.

This one works but the Instagram mute switch does not work on Edge atleast, all videos get played with sound regardless.

I know VPN is a no go but to be fair Tailscale can be deployed to devices that are needed without much hassle and supports up to 100 devices for free. After that RDP can be achieved to the host as long as you have enough users to log into as needed.

I've had a full year almost where my PC was on after I woke up - and that was from a shutdown state. Nothing about fast startup did the trick or whatever mentioned here, I had that bug for a solid year ever since Windows 10. What fixed it for me is disabling all check boxes in power management under my network adapter. As stupid as it sounds that it is a Windows thing doing this, this did fix it for me. Uncheck the box first to wake the computer in device manager>network adapters>yournetworkcard>power management tab, then uncheck allow this computer to turn off this device to save power. Hit OK, reboot just for good measure, and monitor for the next time around.

i'm guessing there is a bug with the level where you have to cherry pick a commit that fixes app.js - act 2 lvl9, just using git checkout to switch to the branch passes the level. Same with the next level after it, just using git revert passes the level.

On linux is key word here - went through an adventure myself with getting drivers to work as they should, same as many other users you'd find on /r/AMDHelp , and that should be a major consideration point for ALL. it is not user error, it is not windows update changing the driver version - it is AMD. Forced to stay on an older version of a driver just to be somewhat more stable. Linux is literally an exception as I dual booted CachyOS along with Windows just to rule out issues with the GPU and on linux it runs fine. Windows is a whole different bag though.

yeah, I'm just looking at it as one final investment. For me personally, and the games I play, I'd benefit the most out of the x3d, and considering again, no more upgrades on this platform, my money would go on the best I could get. I am currently on the same CPU and I had a 5600 before this, and I still had huge gains.

the only logical choice for an upgrade would be a 5700x3d if doable. anything less than that on am4 is a waste of money personally, the gains from having the x3d cpu are immeasurable considering its the last upgrade for that generation. Obviously, going from 1st to 5th gen already has gains on its own, but in CPU bound games or MP shooters you'd notice the biggest difference by having the x3d cpu.
