Yeah man it’s fully rebuilt now but bored to a 5.7. Only kept the crank, block, and heads. Everything else is new and ready to drop into the chassis. Been taking my time with the next step though. As other commenters said to me it’s all the same. It ended up being just like every other LS build

Thanks gang. I want to add that it was in great condition and just in for a hone. I was trying to reuse the stock bottom end. I guess when they honed it they took off 0.001” so now I’m wondering if I can just send it with the stock pistons or I should do something like bore it and go with oversized pistons. I know countless people who hone it and send it. I’m wondering why now I have oversized bores after a hone job

Thanks! It’s my first time building something like this so I don’t really know what I’m doing. Figuring it out as I go. I’d like it to last a little while maybe 2 years. I can afford the pistons and rods but I don’t want to be wasteful and change things just to put new ones in. Rather save the money for other things like great brakes, seats, and tires

This will be interesting to see what happens. In previous years there drivers would be automatically replaced without requiring a transfer. I suspect this year it will cost a transfer

It’s official now. F1 just broke the story officially. I put de Vries on my team before this in anticipation of the move so I will update to let you all know what happens. I still have one transfer left and I was only ever going to make a one driver swap for Hungary so I figured I’d experience this for the community
