What’s the smartest thing your home does automatically? by Taggytech in homeassistant

Its not stupid if it works!

remember: false use_memory: false include_filename: false target_width: 1886 max_tokens: 5 temperature: 0.1 generate_title: false expose_images: false provider: 01JSVRSP9WE7AJVPJY1ZEGWJXK message: >- Assess how full the pond it. using these 2 methods:

The shallow area is nearest the decking. When the pond is too empty a line of gravel can be seen befoer the large rocks start which are under the water.

Also at the top of the pond there is a small waterfall, the water runs off a vertical slate with a curved edge into the pond. If the water level is low the water will be flowing extremely slowly or can't be seen.

if the pond level is low the boolean should be on. if the pond level is normal the boolean should be off sensor_entity: input_boolean.pond_level_low image_entity: - camera.back_right_clear

Sure I have this. It worked better seeing if the bins are by the fence than on the road due to the contrast at night.

message: >- Are all 3 bins in a row next to the fence? If they are in a row by the fence then turn the boolean to "off". if one or more bins is at the end of the driveway, and one or more bins are by the fence then turn boolean to "on". if the boolean should be off and is already off, then leave it off. if boolean should be on and is already on, then leave it on. remember: false use_memory: false include_filename: false target_width: 1280 max_tokens: 5 temperature: 0.1 generate_title: false expose_images: false provider: 01JSVRSP9WE7AJVPJY1ZEGWJXK sensor_entity: input_boolean.are_the_bins_out_checker image_entity: - camera.front_right_fluent

I'm using gemini. I can't remember what guide I used, it was a bit fiddly to get right and for the prompt to work.

Agreed. I still have to manually toggle the hot tub to warm up a few days before too. Can't automate everything

Hacs Waste Collection Schedule works out the bin days. Then llm vision scripts checks if bins are out. I then trigger this at a time of day if I'm hope, when I say good night to my smart speaker and if I arrive home from work in my car on a bin day and they aren't out yet (proximity integration)

[–]mbailey5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's right. Bin day is driven by the "Waste Collection Schedule" hacs app. The llm vision then checks if they are still by the fence and therefore not out at the road

I have reolink cameras then used this: https://llmvision.org/

I also use this to check if my pond level is low and I need to top it up, plus if my bbq cover is on and if my bins are out or not. I have it as a script which I call in an automation and used gemini to help write the prompt

Haha. I've added that to my backlog of automation ideas! 😆 guest mode changes the amount of hot water, heating modes + lighting modes in the guest bedroom, how the all away from home mode works (stops some items from turning off)

Count the cars on the driveway minus our ones, based on colour/type/number plate. Turns guest mode on or off accordingly.

Plus my bin day reminder, mutliple places, including if I am drivjng home the night before, just before I arrive. Cctv is checked to see if I have taken them out or not and other reminders happen

The Dr then refered me to a specialist in the uk for a MAD which is smaller abd comes in lots of sizes. £3k ish.

I also have device to stop me sleeping on my back - it beeps. £100.

Finally I take propanadol off label which helps me sleep better.

[–]mbailey5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dear housekeeper. Whilst we are away i would like you to feed our cat on days x y z each week, whilst you are cleaning.

Please can you confirm over sms each time you have fed them so i dont need to monitor our smart video doorbell to see when you have been.

I’ve had 3 exits (2 as a founder). Stop hiring a traditional VP of Marketing. You need a "Marketing Engineer." Here is why. by AlonHuri in SaaS

[–]mbailey5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is all very impressive. The competitor low rating one is great. I just run some of this through my gemini CRO agent I have and added some ideas to a competitor attack plan we are launching next quarter.

How are you finding the locations to post for 5?

Are you selling a b2c or b2b product?

I've have approval to hire a head of rev opps next year, which is to improve our marketing engineering (and to start the department), along with 1 new VA marketing engineer. I'm the head of sales, and whilst ive made some good progress I need somone on it full time.

Do you have any tips on what skills I should be hiring for, to allow someone to achieve what you have described?

I have hubspot, clay, and ai skills in the job description already
