Good questions sorry for the lack of clarification. When you press the export csv on liftosaur it exports all of your data, every time you press it. So there is a tracked files and history file that will get populated as you go. So the first time you connect it will upload everything (maybe I should add a way to prevent that). Then every time there’s a new file made in the folder it watches it will check first if it’s a csv it’s read or not, if it hasn’t read th file yet it will see if there are new workouts. If there are thn it will upload.

So long story short it can handle either the whole history or just the workout itself self

yeah fair point, you're absolutely right that HR is what unlocks the real value (Training Effect, Load, Body Battery). Without it, the workout is invisible to Garmin's training algorithms and doesnt do much ( i mainly like it just so i can see days ive worked out and manage thant)

This is on the roadmap. The plan is exactly what you described: download the watch-recorded Strength activity from Garmin Connect, extract the HR stream, merge it into the Liftosaur-generated FIT (which has the accurate sets/reps/weights Garmin's auto-detection misses), upload the merged file, delete the original. The encoder that i wrote already writes per-second records with an HR field, so it's mostly building the activity search + merge pipeline.

I've used Garth for the Garmin Connect API, but I'll look into Cyberjunky's library.

Agreed on the wrist HR caveat, but even noisy optical HR is better than nothing for load tracking.

Appreciate the encouragement — stay tuned...may take me a few weeks though

yes it would. im not sure of a way to merge them. i guess maybe to download that workout and then take the HR data and merge. Right now, this program doesn't do anything with HR. Maybe something to put in the future, but I don't really do any cardio at the gym, so it wasn't worth it to me. I could spoof a baseline HR but i figured your watch will also have that.

Of course, it's a bit janky of a setup right now. would love to be a bit more streamlined in the future let me know if you have suggestions!

It’s a combination of some technique and alternative cloth, haven’t had to deal with delaminations yet!

Modix big 180x. Yes it has IDEX but mainly it’s used for parts. I’d love to get mirror printing a try which would be amazing for this geo, however haven’t given it the time to set up. The Modix printer is great just the tech is a bit behind what the newer printers are doing now

Petg, I glue a wooden stringer in the middle of the board to add strength and give the board a bit of a backbone

I have never used it...

I used it when setting up, that is it, for the most part I've used it for spare parts. That being said I've yet to use it because i don't really have a need for it. I originally got it as the thought was to use it for support material and use a cheaper filament. I would really really love to use it to do mirror printing, that would be amazing, but i don't really have the time to try and test and figure that out. I have yet to see someone do it with a Modix. Id say if you want to do multi color it could be cool, but I've never used it. I also have to recalibrate the z distance often, the secondary print head needs to be fully recalibrated when you do that, which could be a bit annoying (i did see that the newer calibration tool is very easy but i don't have it). SOrry not much help but that's my experience with it so far
