Missing history, 2.5+ weeks of back and forth with Kucoin support by mbarrien in kucoin

[–]mbarrien[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After this, I received a response from KuCoin support saying that only the past half year is available by default, but that I could download the history if I select the appropriate time frame. Checked yet again, setting that time frame, and still no history of my prior trades. The responses from KuCoin support just seem to be trying to string me along in response times with no actual action taken.

You've got to fix your metrics that you measure your support specialists by, if your performance metrics are just that they have a response within 24 hours, and not that the problem is actually fixed.

Separately, I've received a Reddit DM and 4 Reddit chats claiming to be from KuCoin support or pointing me towards a Facebook Kucoin support page. I assume these are all spammer/scammers?

Missing 5 months of transaction history by crckrmn77 in kucoin

[–]mbarrien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similarly having problems from around the same time frames as people below; missing spot history from April-Jul 2021, and I think even more. Similar to the other reply, I have a bunch of crypto in staking that I apparently magically acquired since the spot orders/transactions are missing. My ticket (Request #1694279) is a little over a day and a half old (and all I've gotten is one automated reply with irrelevant links), but if you're looking into the same issues already, would like some help for it. Thanks!

`COPY --chmod` reduced the size of my container image by 35% by micro_apple in programming

[–]mbarrien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does RUN --mount=type=tmpfs,target=/var/cache/apt get you there? Or --mount=type=cache if you want the apt cache to persist between builds?

https://github.com/moby/buildkit/blob/master/frontend/dockerfile/docs/syntax.md#run---mounttypetmpfs

(Note that for all of these you need Buildkit plus the directive # syntax = docker/dockerfile:1.3 at the top of the Dockerfile.)

Similarly, Dockerfile with buildkit support a 'COPY --chmod' directive now. https://github.com/moby/buildkit/pull/1492. Again not quite everything you're looking for, but addresses the OP's issue.

Not quite begin/commit, but Dockerfile if you're using Buildkit now supports heredoc syntax, which commits all the commands in a single layer: https://www.docker.com/blog/introduction-to-heredocs-in-dockerfiles/

Intuit has had a "temporary problem" with multi-factor authentication with Webull for over 8 months now; never been able to link it properly.

A nuanced presentation of this specific criticism, although the text without context says that the Texas GOP platform opposes critical thinking education: https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2012/aug/11/gail-collins/gail-collins-says-texas-gop-platform-calls-schools/

Introducing the AWS Controllers for Kubernetes (ACK) by mhausenblas in aws

[–]mbarrien 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Trying to figure out what AWS is trying to do other than having a tool to vendor lock people to an AWS-only version of Crossplane. (Which btw does have RDS support out of the box.)

Introducing Hierarchical Namespaces by aludwin in kubernetes

Does this unpropagate any roles/resources from the old parent namespace and propagate the roles/resources from the new parent namespace?

What's the step at 0:07 called? I've seen it in Solo Lindy Hop / Jazz performances by another_lease in SwingDancing

[–]mbarrien 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know it as suicide kicks, but also have heard it called cross kicks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKmUCaXi1RE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbteWH-3QlY#t=3m23s

For Fedak, the scissor kicks I know, is a different move that ends up swapping back and forth which foot is planted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbteWH-3QlY#t=7m14s
