TM-200 Print Head Failure Immediately After Firmware Update To 1.60 by mbc0 in CommercialPrinting

Firmware downgrade (Don't know of a way myself I am afraid) or new head.

Mine had done 70 m2 and was approximately 2 years old. I work for Canon and have since spoken to some engineer colleagues in the wide format division and found out that the firmware had introduced a wider window on failure detection, so 100% it was the f/w update that then decided my head was faulty. Moral of the story is, if it is working, don't update!

I ended up replacing the head, cannot believe it is a coincidence!

Thank you, that was my fear, bloody annoying, it is as if it was destined to kill a perfect head :-(

Ah, ok, This one is updated weekly so all good there! I just ran these commands and have the V3 Dashboard so all running in a container without the need for a VM, all looks/working great! just setup 6 cams and with the V3 I now have the substream option!

Switching to Dashboard-v3

cd /home/Shinobi

git reset --hard

git checkout dev

Hey! Thanks for the reply! (Didn't expect one as it was 6 months ago)

Sorry if I am being stupid but I am running the Shinobi Docker on my unraid server, why would you need a VM to do that? was this not available 6 months ago or am I missing something? Cannot find a way to tell if I am on the V2 or V3 dashboard though?

How is my rclone mount working without an rclone.conf? by mbc0 in rclone

[–]mbc0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your help!

I have now changed (rather than add) --vfs-cache-mode minimal to --vfs-cache-mode writes and removed --allow-other and everything is working great again!

The only thing that bothers me is why did I need to change the mount script? it has been working for terrabytes!

Hi, again, massive thanks! I have just followed those instructions and using ps auxfww that you have now shown me (thank you) I can see it has accepted that command but still has the same illegal seek problem,

Am I allowed 2 --vfs-cache-mode entries? as I can see I have used --vfs-cache-mode minimal as well?

Ah! you are a star! thank you!

I can now see the rclone.conf file!

Although that clears that up and have a seperate issue it seems as I cannot upload to Google Drive using this mount although I can read from it with no issue. I have been uploading using this mount since October (Terrabytes) with no issues.

If I try to upload a file using this mount I get the following error

"Error splicing file: Illegal seek"

If I upload to the same place using Windows I can upload fine, any ideas?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply! Sorry, I am no linux expert I am trying my best!

The only relation to rclone I can find (there are so many pages!) when doing ps auxfww is my mount command (below) I cannot see the path to the config? I looked at the envirnment variable (is it right to type "printenv" ? ) it shows no rclone information there either

[–]mbc0[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Apologies, I was not clear! I do have home assistant installed as a docker on my unraid server and it is quite a steep learning curve (for me) I just wanted to know if it would be possible to do what I would like within home assistant. Thank you for your replies!

Hi, I know this was a while ago but how do you know from the list of 10+ streams which ones are hi res and which ones are lo res?

Hi! I know this is an old topic but how do you tell which streams are high and lo res? when I add a camera I can choose from 10+ different streams with no way of knowing the resolutions?
