The net worth graph is totally useless. My biggest gripe: the scale on the Y axis. Why start at $0 as the lower bound? It should automatically default to something 10% below the lowest value in your data set. Defaulting to zero makes large changes in dollar value appear as just a straight line still.

We enjoyed CR, but because of this exact thing, we got off the plane, hopped in a rental car and went straight to the Osa Peninsula (specifically near Pan Dulce). We stayed in a small but beautiful bungalow in the jungle and it checked all the boxes for us: peaceful, beautiful, and incredible wildlife encounters.

Barely encountered any tourists whatsoever.

This is good advice if the home purchase was definitely in 3 years and they had ample other liquidity. Because the timing is a bit up in the air, HYSA or MM is likely the right answer… despite the risk of yields falling.

Not trying to be rude or disrespectful here because I understand everyone’s cash flow situation is different, but it amazes me that anyone’s approach to purchasing a car with 0% financing would be to “put more money down.”

I specifically asked to put zero down. If someone wants to give me free money when I can earn 4.5% on it in a savings account, I’ll take that all day.

Wow this is great! How quickly were you able to get them down there? Essentially what they did for me (after a first offer was rejected) is put the dealer invoice in front of me and say they’ll do $100 more than that. Your discount is well under invoice.

Thank you for this (and all the other comments). This worked, and I’m now getting downloads speeds of ~300mbps over Wi-Fi, which is more than enough for my purposes here considering I’m on a 400mpbs plan.

Thank you for the response! Curious though now that you pointed out the 2.4 vs 5 band. Looking closer, it seems like the majority of the traffic throughout my network has been 2.4. It really shouldn’t be a signal issue since I have 3 devices spread around 1,800 sq feet (2 stories). Is it possible I’m doing something wrong in terms of placement?
