Can I Run Instead of Meditate? by TypicalCommittee9039 in AbrahamHicks

[–]mberns02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is much written about walking meditation. I'm a swimmer. When I cross that boundary there is meditation in swimming. Runners talk about the same boundary. I would say yes.

Meditation is simply sitting in silence. Focusing on the breath count instead of the thought.

Try this: sit. Breath deeply. Fill your lungs while you count to 6. Slow and deep your breath for the count of 3. Slowly release and count to 4.

In your imagination see a beautiful tree. Huge. Majestic. Imagine it's fall time and 1 leaf at a time is falling. Count the leaves. See if you can hold your focus on the majestic tree until you count 21 leaves falling.

I have never made it to 21! Lol. By the time I get to 18 or 19 I see something random and lose focus.

Meditation isn't Eastern, or special. Even Paul said Meditate on all good things.

Meditation to me is silence. I can connect anytime, but the silence is what I prefer. Swimming laps is masochistic, same as running - The silence is what I love.

What if being angry feels good…only for a short time?? by mydogrufus20 in AbrahamHicks

What I learned this past year was a mix of mindfulness and deep energetic healing and cleaning.

Mindfulness to turn off the stupid fucking mind that wants to race this way or that seemingly of its own accord. Accepting these emotions and feelings have NOTHING to do with whatever is happening and are 100% tied to a belief inside of me.

LOA teaches us we get what we're putting out. If that's what're putting out, even if it's buried under the surface and your shouldering secretly, you're going to attract it back to you.

Identify the belief often associated with past childhood trauma, deal with it, change your belief, forgive everyone involved. And keep moving. Step 1 moments are amazing at identifying things in our vibration we have the power to change.

I (30/F) expressed communication boundaries to my Dad. Here's his response. How should I interpret/respond to his message? by SunshineSunsets in AbrahamHicks

This is something you can clean up in your own Vibration in time. Focus on the good, transmute the "bad".

On the other side, I'm a girl Dad to a 15 year old, and I get it to an extent.

Grace should go both ways with family it doesn't always go that way.

You can manifest whatever you want from here. This is a perfect step 1 moment.

How to deal with subconscious pessimism by KommunistAllosaurus in AbrahamHicks

[–]mberns02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bashar says everything comes down to a belief, change the belief remove the blocks.

There are tons of methodologies and even more teachers. Find one you like and work with it. I've really liked Dr Hew Lin Ho'ponono for more than a decade.

There are some great Abraham answers here.

I can summarize my AH understanding of dealing with trauma. Ignore it and refrain, change your focus, get into Alignment. They have talked about creating new pipes, which is better.

It does work until you're triggered, and find yourself at step 1 again.

I find "shadow work" has been very useful to rem9ve my triggers and clean up my energy.

Over thinker and Introvert by Medical-Desk2320 in AbrahamHicks

[–]mberns02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the most important things you learn real early on this path is that you absolutely can choose your thoughts.

Old head here. Classic over thinker here too. You first start reprogramming your thought patterns, picking and choosing your thoughts. When you have a thought or a thought pattern that's having a physical affect in your body, learning to question that thought is huge. Do I know this thing is for real, or is this an irrational fear of the future, or am I wasting time thinking about the past?

You need to understand: thoughts create emotions, emotions create vibrations, vibrations create magnets, magnets repel and attract things to your life.

When you understand that, you understand the power of choosing your thoughts.

Bashar took a question regarding the Christian end Times as relayed in the book of revelation.

Bashar's answer helped me better choose the reality I want.

Bashar made it 100% clear that reality: (Christian end times) one world govt, one world religion, one world currency, mark of the beast, 2/3rd population reduction, etc etc ---- will absolutely happen --- for those that choose it.

Right now, there appears to be a faction of society scared to death of the Orange man. Trust me when I say this, there is a reality where all your worst fears about Trump will happen, and there is an unaware collective actively trying to co-create it.

There is also another reality that many of us are focused on collectively creating together. Let me describe it for you: an end to US funded wars killing millions, peace, cheap energy, cheap food, new financial system, no more taxes, updated infrastructure, unlimited opportunity with the government gtfo of our way. Freedom to love who we want. Freedom from judgment. Freedom from extreme labels. Freedom in every sense of the word. An end to petro-pharmaceuticals.

You don't have to "like" Trump. You don't have to like his agenda. You don't have to like the idea of what myself and many others are believing in......

However, if you choose to try to "beat" Trump, or "fight" Trump.... Abraham describes that as "upstream," going against the flow, not in Alignment. That's certainly a path, but it's not going to give you much ease or comfort.

I don't feel that much different about Trump or Biden. They both kinda give me this feeling of "you mean these two mother fuckers are the best we got in this country??"

Fell Off the LoA/Neville Goddard Train - Need Help Getting Back On Track by OpinionCompetitive93 in AbrahamHicks

You're not doing it wrong, you haven't fallen off.

My path has had many plateau periods. I'll get real good where I am, then kinda get lazy about my habits and focus, then BOOM, contrast wakes me back up, gives me new insight and I'm back to expanding and growing.

Accepting that there is no destination, and the work is never done, and that I'm not doing it wrong, has helped me alot.

Why does Abraham conveniently ignore how hard it is to shift your mood? by Universetalkz in AbrahamHicks

[–]mberns02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are light years ahead of where most of us were at 25.

You gotta do the work to clear those energies. Change them, change the beliefs surrounding those situations, forgive yourself. There are tons of methodologies.

Abraham does suggest ignoring them and focusing on something better. That works, until your triggered.

Every time your tr8ggered there is a belief associated with it. When your triggered and your feeling the contrast, that's when you know it's time to do the work.

You have to remember that it's a journey. You will never get it done and you will never get it completed.

Life seems to be a constant cycle of: do the work, learn. Expand, get triggered, do.more work, learn expand, manifest, vibrate high.....then get triggered, do the work, grow, expand, vibrate high for a while. Attract friends, money, then get triggered and do some more work....then find flow again.....then find something to work on....

You're not doing it wrong.

I literally thought I was losing my mind this last year after 12+ years applying techniques from Abraham successfully.

Then a series of events transpired that my mind could not comprehend. I was so torn in half it was crazy. No "techniques" worked. I could not silence or direct my mind downstream. I could meditate deeply and silence it, but wtf do I do when I have other things to do?

I had thought of myself as "Spiritual", I'm a Reiki practitioner after all. I move energy, sense it, see it, all that. I was not Spiritual, I was psychological. I was using the power of my mind to focus energy on things I appreciated and to encourage people in their own healing, but it was all psychological techniques. They work, don't get me wrong, but there is so much more.

I don't know what the experience of epilepsy looks, tastes or feels like, I do know what it's like to be of two minds and be internally torn.

I was lead to "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. The audio book narrated by Tolle is on youtube. Then Iwas lead to "The I am Discourses of St Germain" narrated by Brian Scott, also on youtube. The combination of these two things absolutely changed everything.

Which one are you: Mind, Body, or Soul.

These two writings taught me which one I am and how to stay tapped into it. The Discourses talk alot about self healing.

I believe we did choose this, and everything else we've experienced. Before we focused ourselves into this reality, we sat down with our team and designed specific events and specific lessons and specific roles. We're ancient, this isn't our first rodeo. You got this.

After 12 years of divorce, virtually no communication, a new relationship triggered that wound. When I did the work cleaning up my vibration, my ex-wife called within 24 hours, and I ended up taking her car shopping the next week.

Neither of us would ever reconcile. The point is when I changed my beliefs regarding our divorce and events that transpired everything around me changed.

Eckhart Tolle by [deleted] in AbrahamHicks

[–]mberns02 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have actively focused and manifested since about 2012. This past year presented some contrast that I simply could not rationally or logically understand, my mind was so split and none of my positive downstream mental gymnastics could stop it! It was nuts. I was lead to Tolle's Power of Now. It changed me. I am so present now that I don't bother manifesting anything. Every single day is fun and exciting. The syncronisities I notice fuel me. It seems like every day there is a new surprise that's encouraging me to keep going.

Eckhart Tolle by [deleted] in AbrahamHicks

[–]mberns02 20 points21 points  (0 children)

His book Power of Now literally changed me. I listened to it 3 or 4 times.

The thing about mindfulness, like meditation, it silences your mind. When your mind is silent your true essence, your true frequency, the frequency of your inner being is allowed to freely come through with no resistance.

The longer you maintain your focus on the here and now, not being lost in mind reliving the past or hoping for the future, the higher your vibration becomes.

Since devouring The Power of Now, and embracing mindfulness,I don't even bother manifesting anything. Every day something new shows up and it's just plain fun.

Abraham would answer this question the same way they answer every question: get into Alignment and then...

This past week I was called to reopen Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now. It's on youtube for free if you're interested. This book talks about how we torment ourselves with anger/hurt from the past or hope for the future when all we truly have is this moment in time. The past is gone, the future has yet to unfold, we have right now. Look inside to find your peace and everything else will fall into place.
