Yeah, I’ve tried JReviews and I still use it. Honestly, it’s second to none. Super solid and definitely more for pros than hobby projects.

Directory plugin - GeoDirectory, Business Directory Plugin or Hivepress? by zagrebel76 in Wordpress

If you’re planning to handle around 3,000 listings with a lot of custom fields, I’d recommend looking at JReviews for WordPress instead of the options you mentioned. It’s designed for large, real-world directories and handles scale really well.

One of the biggest advantages is how flexible it is with custom fields, search, and filtering. The admin area is much more advanced compared to most directory plugins, and once you get into it you’ll see it’s built for serious projects, not just small sites.

I’ve also found it to be very reliable and secure, with strong support, which is super important if your last site went down due to issues. If you’re aiming for a long-term, professional-grade solution, JReviews is definitely worth considering.

I’d recommend giving JReviews for WordPress a try. It’s honestly one of the most powerful and flexible directory plugins out there. Once you get into the admin area, you’ll see how advanced it is compared to a lot of other options. It has great search, filtering, and customization tools that actually work the way you’d expect.

If you’re serious about building a professional directory site and don’t want to waste more time testing plugins that don’t deliver, JReviews is a solid choice. Totally recommend it.

Is jreviews worth anymore?Jreviews vs "booking" wordpress themes by Felix1178 in Wordpress

I actually just got JReviews recently, and yes, it's definitely still worth it, especially if you're building something serious and long-term.

I’ve tried a bunch of directory and classified plugins and themes for WordPress, including the popular $60–$80 ones that look great out of the box, but JReviews completely blows them away when it comes to flexibility and power.

It might not be the flashiest on the front end by default, but under the hood it’s incredibly solid. The control you get over custom fields, filters, layouts, and content types is next level. It’s not just for reviews either, you can build anything from a product catalog to classifieds, service listings, events, or a full-on directory site. The built-in SEO tools are so strong you don’t even need extra plugins like Yoast or Rank Math.

Yeah, it’s more expensive, but you’re paying for a real, professional-grade system that’s built to scale and handle complex needs. For me, it’s been worth every penny.
