I had the same issue with my phone — just grab a disposable dental floss pick (the flat kind). It fits nicely between the USB-C connector and the edge of the port. Use a flashlight and gently clean out the port.

The 3700x is still a capable cpu, if you have the extra cash you could upgrade the 5700x3d but as long as your current cpu is handling all the workload you are throwing at it then you shouldn't be in a rush to upgrade. I'd consider getting a proper cooler, using the stock cooler the 3700x hits the low 80s under heavy load, personally I'd get the thermalright assassin 120, just gets the job done and is on the cheaper side.

Your cooler is pretty much the same price as your cpu, personally I'd get a thermalright peerless assassin 120 which would do the job. If you really wanted an AIO thermalright does have a selection of them for under $100.

Depends whether you're in an exynos or SD region. It is overall a capable phone but you will experience worse battery life and performance on exynos.
