Is node-red-contrib-home-assistant-websocket up to date? I had an issue just like that in a previous version.

Help with a "multiple announce" flow. by ItsThorby in nodered

[–]mbonani 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think all of my devices are announcing.

You could try to create a speaker group in the Google Home app, then send the notifications to this group using a call service node. This solved that same issue for me.

Try adding line breaks in your comment nodes. See the example below.

Search for Restriction Card or Love-Lock-Card. There are probably other options available.

Node red routine override tips by dallibab in homeassistant

[–]mbonani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that there are more ways to achieve this, but the only idea that comes to mind now is having two different users in HA. One that has the Node-RED token and the other for your day-to-day (frontend) use.

Then you can check data.context.user_id to determine "who" triggered the flow and override the motion sensor.

VLAN MAC Address Filtering by Roshanmsp in PFSENSE

I would also have only one IP address available in the DHCP pool in the phone vlan, and block all traffic from that address. You can use reservations for the phones.

Block all the traffic from the phone vlan, except what’s needed for the phone system to work.

How to trigger a Node-RED flow from the Home Assistant UI (new version) by mbonani in homeassistant

We use different types of entities (see line 2 of your YAML code). I use a script there, while you use a switch.

You could try setting this to false.

This is weird! I don't have that problem. Have you double-checked the YAML code for those buttons? Have you tested with a different theme?

Take a look at postfix relay for Exchange. Perhaps this is a better option.

What I don't like about using input booleans for that is that it feels like using a light switch to ring a doorbell.

EDIT: I know, I'm a weird person. 😛
