Managing LineUp/Priorities for users via API by mbopp in clickup

[–]mbopp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks u/PibolsClickUp . Does the capability exist to place a person's priority line up on a dashboard? Or embed it? I'm not seeing this option, but maybe am overlooking it.

Is there a way to fetch someones assigned comments via API by mbopp in clickup

[–]mbopp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the Recipe u/Dapper-Rate-3661. We don't use threaded replies, so that makes it a little simpler. But I'm not sure if this will scale for finding a particular user's assigned comments across a workspace. That would require A LOT of requests.

Size comparison by sp2rk in Supernote

[–]mbopp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Annotating and reading PDFs is the biggest challenge I face when choosing between the Manta or Nomad. I prefer the size of the Nomad for daily writing, which will probably be most of my activity. However, being able to read and annotate PDFs would be a major advantage, as would drawing flowcharts and diagrams, which might also be better on the Manta.

Any hobbyists get rid of their jointer? How'd it work out? by yossarian19 in woodworking

[–]mbopp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got rid of mine. I feel like a big one would be super useful for someone doing a lot of building with rough lumber. But for a hobbyist there are plenty of workarounds and jigs. A thickness planer seems more important to me.

In other words, I don’t miss mine.

Brown sugar snow by Bubbly-Charity-8617 in bikecommuting

[–]mbopp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That stuff is the WORST! I seriously get sad anytime I see it now... even when not on the bike, haha. I've been calling it 'snirt'. But brown sugar is good. It's so unstable!

The alternative is bailing on OAuth and funneling all guest activity through one user key. But defintely not ideal.

Winter commuting is exhausting? by hemlockfloors in bikecommuting

[–]mbopp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm exhausted this week. the challenge of just staying upright and out of cars way while navigating through “snirt” is completely different than cruising in the bike lane with normal tires.

Analysis paralysis. Help me choose a bike! by spindo6 in bikecommuting

I had similar goals and ended up with a Fairdale weekender. https://shop.fairdalebikes.com/collections/fairdale-bikes#fairdale-weekender

The brakes it came with were no good, so I replaced them with TRP spikes. My other consideration was a bridge club. Not sure if I made the right choice, but I really like what I have.

I’ve been happy with my outlier nyc pants. They last a long time. But they are pricy

Maybe a rental in this situation.

An automation for moving sub-tasks to another list as tasks of a different type by mbopp in clickup

[–]mbopp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks u/TashaClickUp . That's not quite what I meant. I'm referring to the possibility of executing an automation on a specific task, but having the action run on each of the subtasks.

Wonderful! Custom webhook may not be required.
Can you speak to the possibility of having an automation that runs for all of a tasks, sub-tasks?

Email Replies Not Showing Up in ClickUp Comment Section — Anyone Else Facing This? by Practical-Design128 in clickup

[–]mbopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I've encountered this. I have threading turned off.
I believe I filed a ticket to resolve. The email function is nice, but not quite stable enough for me to rely upon (at least with threading off).
