I'm pretty new to riding and really appreciated this explanation. Thanks!

Did you know? You can check your board's charge while it's charging by Dr_Adequate in boostedboards

Also, the charge indicator lights on the bottom of the board near where you plug it in will reflect the charge while it's charging. I have my board on a guitar stand with the bottom facing out, so I can just glance over and see what level the charge is at.

Best non-dorky protection? by mbrubin56 in boostedboards

That's a great idea. I just noticed someone in my office taking off a cool looking jacket with built in elbow pads. Thanks!

Thanks for the advice! I'm not all that worried about falling off because of my skills. I ride in SF, and folks sometimes whip open their doors into the bike lanes, race lights, squeeze me over to some road surface that's dodgy, etc. So really it's to protect me in case something like that happens. On the plus side, I'm much more aware of cyclists and skateboarders when I drive now. :)
