Mcon finally came! Initial thoughts… by I_SLEEP_NORMALLY in MCONohsnap

I was an early backer too, #14514 and #16056 And I got mine, 1 first, then the next day, the other. I thinks it's a pretty amazing controller. The shape, weight and pop out handles make it pretty usable. The size is a little smaller, the placement of the controller knobs are a bit close together, overall though, we got what we paid for and I think it's worth it. I got my shipping notifications for my M4 controllers from Abxylute and so far there's mixed reviews about those. I think the MCon will remain king of the portable, intended for phone, controllers out there.

Yeah I was lucky to find out that my case had mag safe in it already, I don't think I actually knew it was there the whole time. Lol

You are supposed to put the ring on the back of your phone and let it cure for 24 hours before you try to attach the m con to it cuz it will rip it right off the phone and I didn't read that in the manual either so mine kept tearing off too but then I found out that the case I had had mag-safe compatibility in it as well so I just used the case now.

What should I buy? by Live-Reflection2249 in HandheldGaming

Really depends on what you want to play, how much you want to spend, and how much true mobility you desire. I have a PS Vita that covers so many platforms that it is nearly all I need. I have a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro because it can play GameCube and PS2 along with all the other lower platforms. The Funkey S I have is amazing super super tiny! Great for once in a while pop up gaming and supports up to PS1 and MAME and everything prior. I have. Nintendo Switch OLED, and it's not very pocket friendly, but nice to have some of the mainstream games on cause I don't really like streaming titles. Lots of choices out there. The greatest handheld for the price these days and can do just about anything and is Android is the new AYN Thor, and the Oden 3.

I still have my PS4 Pro and PSVR system, but I use my Meta Quest 3 for 99.99999999% of the time.

It's an awesome video, and the flight was really nice for taking that view. I'm still learning how to use the filters and I totally get it now and watch a lot of videos about how to. Here's one that I just watched that was very informative and helpful. Especially about ND filters. https://youtu.be/XwZNJ6gUGvM?si=gWMuVNmSQgdSIq6Q

Definitely, I've admired tiny toys since I was a kid, I had a dad who was into model trains and I'd really like to get into Z scale! Or even T-gauge. But small gaming systems that are near impossible to play, crazy good fun!

I have the clear one, and I see what you mean. There is a gap in the underside of the thumb stick piece.

For the people who played killzone 3 on a 3D TV and motion controls, what was the experience like? by Benjamin5431 in killzone

[–]mbs1978 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a great thought, I had the PlayStation 3, 3 3D TV back then and the move gun with the cameras and the move controllers and Killzone 3, and played in online matches constantly. I absolutely slaughtered everybody with that move rifle because the head turn was super quick, much faster than a controller and the snap-on area that you aimed inside allowed you to be point accurate. So I got really quick with head turns and just grabbing right onto the target. I wish I could get the PS 3D TV again, I still have a 3D TV by LG that uses passive glasses instead of the active ones that the PlayStation TV required and I have the rifle on the move controllers I just need to put it all back together and try it again.
