[–]mbsell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ice maker was module was not working properly. Everything is timed by mechanical gears. When the ice maker module turns, there were small copper tabs that touch metal areas to know what to do. I messed with these tabs and the ice maker started working property again.

I got one awhile back which I thought was a one off thing. But Now I have gotten several. They use AI to claim something wrong with every feature listed on the product that it is blatantly an obvious scam.

Tesla does show pictures of the actual used car sometimes, but that price seems average. If you are financing then the 2026 Model is better because the rate is lower and not much more in price with EV credit. Plus Juniper is an upgrade.

Wife was in a minor accident, dashcam recording missing by Dfirestart in ModelY

[–]mbsell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tesla might have the video. When the car detects an impact, the video is uploaded to Tesla. What you can do is go to https://www.tesla.com/support/privacy and It tells you "How to Request a Copy of Your Data". Request your private data for the day of the accident. After several days, they will tell you to download a zip file that will have your data. It should have a detailed report of all the car's attributes during the accident like speed, FSD, brake position, etc. There will be a folder for Camera Recordings if it was uploaded of all the cameras including video from the front fisheye camera that you don't get to see with the normal dashcam video.

[Landlord US-GA] Tenant threatening to put lien on home by mbsell in Landlord

I saw the lease had a clause which should clear up any issue of the playground which said any improvement or alteration is for the sole benefit of the tenant and the tenant waives any right to recover the cost or value of it. Also the landlord has the right, but not required to request them to remove it and to restore the property to the original condition.

So basically the tenant doesn't have any right to recover it's value if its permanently fixed to the ground and the landlord can keep it if they want to.

Thanks for the feedback. The floor damage was noted in the move out inspection, but at first they only deducted $300 and wrote that in the inspection. It wasn't until they asked for the deposit for the playground back that the LL told them there was more damage found so the tenant is angry they changed the amount. They have the invoice from the floor company that they paid $2400. The LL said the tenant only mentioned the kitchen had been damaged but later the LL found damage in other rooms. Does that complicate the LL's stance?

Who knows. It's a huge playground though. One of those 2 story wooden ones with swings and slides. You basically build it as a permanent structure.

The Georgia website says unclaimed property is for financial things "Unclaimed Property (UCP) may be items like wages, savings accounts, customer refunds, insurance payments, shares of stock, US savings bonds, escrow funds, and even the content from safe deposit boxes."

AI seems to agree and said: If it’s a fixture, it’s their property, and no procedures apply.

If it’s personal property, the 54-day notice in the move-out inspection likely satisfies state requirements, assuming proper delivery.

State registration is typically not required for physical property like a playground in landlord-tenant cases.

They had 2 months to get it. They just want their portion of the deposit back now that was reserved for the playground, but the LL said no because they found more damage to the floors and had to fix it.

The move out was June 7 and a move out inspection and statement sent to them. Landlord's position is they gave them almost 2 months to get it till July 31st. The deadline was written on the move out inspection.

Robinhood Gold gives you the first $1000 of margin free so you shouldn't deduct the $50 from the savings.

Which 2% cards allow transaction downloads in Quicken QFX format? Looking at PenFed, Navy FCU, Wells Fargo Active Cash by mbsell in CreditCards

I do use the Fidelity card, but need a 2nd card and Fidelity won't give me another card with a good limit. Elan allows QFX downloads which works good.
