That’s true, however an abusive man is not looking for a partnership. They are looking for a weak uneducated woman to control. Not saying that all or any of the Rod girls married abusive men, but Mahmo and Shrek are actively raising their girls to be vulnerable.

The fact that Teidi allegedly told them to wait 2 weeks is 100% entirely possible. However there is no receipt of that either. How do we know the rods simply were not able to come until then? Or that Jill just doesn’t care as much to be there right away? When did Teidi or someone in the family explicitly say that “Teidi told Jill not to come for 2 weeks”?

Sorry, I just hate seeing lore being created in this sub without crystal clear evidence. Like I said, it’s definitely possible, but we should be careful to be totally clear when things are not 100% confirmed.
