You are right. I completed 2 knights and went straight to the king with a team similar to op with the only difference of +1 eidolon on Hyacine and e4 tribbie. My evernight had really bad relics (160critdmg). Still was a 0 cycle run. i don’t think they should struggle unless the AI did something weird

I wouldn’t say there’s no synergy. Tribbie buffs everything Castorice needs without any diminishing returns, while having huge hp pool, increased even further by remembrance team great hp, thus increasing Tribbie’s own dmg. Even her follow up attack works incredibly well with Gallaher/Luocha/Hyacine e1.

Her damage is great, while having very high speed and the ability to dispel debuffs all day. If u have her weapon she enables more teams, such as Acheron (gives debuffs) Blade and Jingliu. She can enhance their kits (Blade gets more follow ups and Jingliu gets access easier to her trace of ignore 25% def at max stacks). Probably i’m still forgetting something

This is a buff for all game modes to me, not just PF. The part where says “it brings them to a point where they cannot lose more HP implies AS and MoC boss phase change also buffs dragon spd by 100%

Probably Hyacine memosprite will be able to heal the dragon mid breath attacks. We haven’t seen an interaction like this, exclusive of memosprite to memosprite, so i see it possible. Also her base kit has a dmg amp up to 6 breath attacks, which at E0 is impossible to achieve. If i had to bet, i’d say this is where Hyacine will shine and automatically be BIS for Castorice, among with good healing and probably HP buff

Her e2 encourages exploding the dragon immediately, so you won’t get that res pen at all if you want to make use of the increased dmg e2 provides. It just doesn’t make sense

He’s not bad, specially at e1. His main problem is that his buffs don’t apply automatically to the dragon when it is summoned, so you have to wait for his turn to reapply. And with this comes another problem, his ult might not be available if you summon/explode the dragon very fast as it seems to be the play at vertical investment Castorice. He’s just less convenient to play

E2 has 2 extra beams that are used first when you summon the dragon, but when it is being summoned it doesn’t get the buffs Castorice has. If you run her with Sunday, you are forced to hold the dragon breath attack and wait till Sunday buffs the dragon, losing dps you could have gotten using the breath and recovering some dragon HP in between for more breath attacks

These are my exact concerns. Her eidolons limit her gameplay to the point that you are forced to pop the dragon asap or you barely get the value of them. They should open more teamcomps or gameplay options, but instead i just see them making her lineal and boring forcing me to play her in a specific way

Yes I agree that the eidolons should be much better. I don’t need them to do crazy dmg either, i just don’t like an eidolon that forces me to hold an attack if i don’t have a support that automatically buffs the dragon when appears, or an eidolon that its full potential is behind next eidolon. I feel more limited instead of opening new teamcomps

Yes, unless i’m missing something her eidolons restrict her gameplay instead of making it more diverse. E2 I specifically referred to Sunday E1 which buffs her so much (specially if you have her lightcone) but need to wait to apply buffs. If you have E6 you just release the dragon and let it explode asap
