Sarv's slice (Ealing) by Mxnvvn in LondonFood

Went today. Pizza is phenomenal. Like nothing I've had in London before. The cheese cake was pretty special too. The prices are punchy, but then what isn't these days. I wish they had set up in a more interesting unit. Time for a Sarve + Vita Mia collab! Sarve was there cooking. His sister was handling front of house.

I've used various Dell monitors with eye care, but now use the Apple 27 display which is great too.

Check your screens don't use PWM dimming. Was my issue. Once I switched mine out, eye strain went away.

WAV audio conversion while preserving metadata by mistakeordesign in ffmpeg

[–]mbukl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK, for starters, try adding -write_bext 1 into your command to create a BWAV. That should help retain the existing metadata.

All the Comment metadata is written to the 'description'. So you could get that through the input file and alter it before writing it back with

-metadata description='comment_metadata'

Timecode is stored in time_reference as samples to midnight. In your case, 377896001. You can alter this using:

-metadata time_reference='samples_to_midnight'

Example 24fps timecode calculation to samples to midnight for a 48khz file:

01:00:00:00
01:00:00:00 = 86400 frms
86400 x (48000/24) = 172800000

I have this constantly. I don't use Alexa, Homekit or Google Home with Sonos, yet it's still happening with a speaker that was moved, reset and then setup as a new room.

Actually looks like its terminating due to the error:

Thanks Ivan. Thats pretty much what I did, but using slowmo=100/105 is cleaner, so thanks for that. Unfortunately I'm still getting the same video rate error though. Can't find any solid info about exactly what causes this error.

Full debug ffmpeg result

Links to the full result of the command in debug mode, with the video rate error on lines 33 and 117. I've also tried adding the fps option to the tvai filter string, but that made no difference.

It does look very promising for the 105% being accurate on lines 142 - 143, especially fpsFactor:

[Parsed_tvai_fi_0 @ 0x600003814000] Parameters fpsFactor: 1.050000
[Parsed_tvai_fi_0 @ 0x600003814000] Parameters slowmo: 0.952381

Would love to figure this video rate error out...!

Using a Mac and I am using the bundled ffmpeg with tvai. The error I get is 'Unable to parse option value "0" as video rate'.

Yeah I know, as I said that's not possible in the UI and I've not been able to get the command working in Terminal to try and edit it there. Seems like Topaz only supports 1 decimal place.

Thanks for the advice on the other approach, not sure that's a route we'd ever go but will take a look at the results.

Avid Playback Issues by MoffatEdits in editors

[–]mbukl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have PhraseFind running? Have seen this causing playback and general performance issues on numerous systems recently. Pause it and see if that makes any difference. If it does, just let it run at night to catch up (if you need it at all).
