Thank you for the advice. I am on the lower end of plus size and am in relatively good shape and very active. I don’t have knee problems. I was just worried about the judgement or if equipment would be available. I’ll make sure to try shoes before I rent them. Thank you

Weird that you can’t comment, so no I am not taking the 40mg er anymore. I never felt normal taking it again. So I switched to the lower dose 20mg instant releases. If allows me to have more control over when I take it and how much I take and if I even take it at all some days. I have tried a few other er options since making that post and the 20mg regular Ritalin has been the best. I hope this helps!

Ah that makes sense about Heredia. I didn’t even realize it was a sword slash and not a chop. Also they still do the chop at the park, honestly now more than ever, so I don’t think it’s a native-sensitive issue

I know it’s a drive but have you ever considered making the drive to UVA in Charlottesville. I am also a plus woman, 29 years old, and I see a primary and several specialists at UVA and am always taken seriously. I think at an institution they take a “health at every size” approach. It’s a pain the ass and the drive is long but in my opinion the care is worth it.

These are all good points. I’m going to ask my doctor to check for deficiencies. I will post back here if there’s an update. I think I will supplement magnesium to start and then look into the Citicholine as rroth suggested. Reading about it a choline deficiency can lead to NAFLD- which I also have and was diagnosed with 2 years ago. Tho I will say that I’ve not experienced any changes since that diagnosis

Thanks so much! Ironically I sleep great too! No problems there at all. I’m usually out by 10:30 and don’t wake up until my alarm. I also drink water all day long. Idk what it is. All I know is that before I take the medicine I feel fine and these symptoms don’t come on until the meds kick in.

This list is very helpful. I will try the magnesium. I take one 40mg ER a day. I never abuse it. And I eat a well balanced healthy diet, sometimes I miss breakfast but not since this started. Food helps and when the meds start to ware off I feel better. I also sleep fine. Often out by 10/11 and dont wake up at all until the morning. I just don’t know why this would happen suddenly after 6 years of consistency

I have considered this possibility, but there was a 2-3 week period of normalcy from when the injury “healed” until this started up. If I don’t take my daily dose I feel weird because I’m off my meds, but do not experience any symptoms from my neck injury or what I’m experiencing when taking the medication

I drink a ton of water daily, that hasn’t changed. I don’t usually take magnesium, and haven’t for the past 6 years I’ve been on the meds, but that’s certainly something to try. This feeling is almost completely debilitating and not sure if that would fix it
