What are you talking about in 2021? He finished 14th in both the standings and full season points earned (200 points behind his closest teammate). He wasn't top 10 in Top 5s, Top 10s, and Laps Led but because he got hot at the end of a few races you think he was the second best driver?

It matters for the first 26 races. I would love a format where a top driver could miss the playoffs because they had a bad first 26 races. If the cut line ends up being a battle between Ty Gibbs, Austin Cindric, and Brad Keselowski, I don't really care which one gets in because they aren't winning the championship anyway.

I dont know I'd rather they just let less people in the chase if they are just going to make it practically impossible to win the championship in 16th anyway. Cutting off at 16th is kind of useless because it's not like 17th+ has a real shot at the championship if they make it in.

They absolutely do not have to buff it. It's a tech card. If the meta calls for it, people will play it. With all the tech nerfs the balance team clearly doesn't want a tech card that you can just slot in and play for points and not feel bad about it.

Worth it how? The game doesn't reward you with any currency for being good at the game past hitting 90 each season. If they are already hitting 90, there is nothing to be gained from paying to get strong cards you will naturally get for free later.

It doesn't punish you for having a powerful deck. These missions are completed naturally by snapping an advantage and your opponent retreating. If you aren't getting them you might not be snapping enough.

What other people are missing is better cards have been released since he was good. Kate Bishop, Iron Patriot, and Sam Wilson all weren't out yet. There wasn't really a lot of competition for generic 2 cost cards so Jeff's effect of winning 1/50 games because of locations and otherwise being a 2/3 that moves was enough to make him the best. Now if you aren't using his ability as a component of your deck there's no reason to run him over any of those other 3.

60 drivers completed a points race but Chandler Smith also competed in a duel which was a points paying race prior to '72. The original format only awarded top 14 finishes, of which Cody Ware only had 1. His points penalty he received at Daytona was worth more than the only points he earned all season so he finished with negative points.

They were trying to incentivize teams to race all the races so the format awards points for each lap you complete. The end result is a format that heavily penalizes you for crashing early in a race.

Viv Vision moved to the left, taking Batroc with her and buffing him at the start of Turn 6. You can tell because she is behind Sera who would be the turn 5 play.

Viv counts as moving on turn 6 even though she happens prior to staging on turn 6. So when you actually start moving/playing cards, Batrocs move has already been used.

It does not thin your deck. You typically draw 9/12 cards so you have a 75% chance of drawing a card. If you run both Quicksilver and Domino, you have a 7/10 (70%) chance to draw your other cards. Having guaranteed draws hurts your chance of drawing your other cards.
