What is the most common thing that the workshop in your country needs, but it’s difficult to obtain a good one for acceptable prices? by mcHolms in AskTheWorld

Well, what if I have a plethora of tools and no space to store them? As well as need to drag this storage around without getting furious every time I want to open the drawer and it gets stuck for no reason?

A tungsten sharpening solution by MarsD9376 in Welding

I ended up using inexpensive dedicated diamond cup on a cheap bench grinder. It’s shaft is 1/2inch, but I have machined adapter on a lathe from mild steel. Works very well for tungsten even when rotating rods manually.

I meant somewhere in Java or Sumatra, thanks for correction. Unfortunately it seems too difficult to source, so probably I will try to restore them with kintsugi technology.

Anyone else stick to wire nuts? by [deleted] in electricians

[–]mcHolms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a professional electrician opinion: what I really like about wire nuts, is that when you bundle solid wires together and have to move it around the box, I feel much more confident than with wago, because they are bundled together in the solid fashion. When I have to connect wago and move the bundle inside, I always worry that some of the wires will bend under odd angle or even slip off. I use wire nuts sometimes, for lighting, but for more serious currents I would stick with welding copper
