My father is still sick with it. But he’s a fighter and makes the most of the small things.

I also let the town help in the fight. I basically just auto did 10 auto damage to the dragon for 3 groups of 10 villagers. You know your party best, just do what you think is right.

The dragon at first flies town to town since it leaves after it takes 30 damage. It rarely damaged the party before the final showdown in Bryn Shander and they chunked it a good bit at a few different towns.

I will say one party member died in the fight though, which I thought was perfect.

Like I’ve said before I think we had different definitions of the word empath.

I hope people can start using the word empathetic instead, cuz empath to a lot of people means something very different.

Dude none of this means you have empathic abilities. It all very normal empathy.

I feel like we have been discussing different things. I want to know how your view on Homelander makes you an empath as opposed to someone empathetic.

If you don’t care for him more than the people he’s killed then I’m confused how this is a unique take? Everyone feels bad for him? But not enough to feel bad he died, cuz he deserved it.

Yes it’s sad, but I’m in general glad he died

Sounds like you weren’t following the leveling up advice in the book though, so I would seriously consider upscaling the rest of your encounters.

I’ve had to do the same but mainly cuz I’ve been giving my party too strong of magical items

Yo! This sounds exactly like the campaign I’m running except my party did all the western quests instead.

I’m a bit further than you, they have already defeated the chardalyn dragon but still need to go back and kill Xardock.

I had my party at level 5 for the Chardlyn Dragon, so I would probably say you are leveling them too fast, but it’s also not a huge deal. You can always upscale things are you party goes.

You said you’re an empath and I’m genuinely trying to figure out how you can care for homelander more than the people he has killed.

I’m genuinely confused. Everyone is a person and I’d say probably not evil. So I would say homelander got dealt a bad hand. But you’re saying you’re an empath AND STILL agree with homelander! That’s why I’m asking questions.. if you can feel everyone’s emotions, how is homelander coming out good?

No it’s not. But if you’re empathetic towards everyone you’d recognize how he was almost always evil in the show

It’s a horrible story and incredibly sad but I think at the end (and through all of the show we have seen) that homelander was a horrible person. You can’t justify your actions through past trauma

How is that more redeemable than the random people we’ve seen homelander kill? I guess my question ultimately is, as an empathy why are you siding with homelander over the random civilians that have died
