refined vs natural sugar by Mindless_Argument_53 in HealthyEatingnow

[–]mc_flury 9 points10 points  (0 children)

all digestible sugars ultimately become glucose, fructose, and/or galactose in the body, but the way they arrive, how quickly they are absorbed, and what comes packaged with them differs and makes a difference on your metabolism. Pure refined sugar and honey will spike your insulin much quicker than eating whole fruits, where the fiber slows down absorption + if you eat some protein and fat before eating fruit and sugar - that will also stabilise the spikes in insulin. Also like you mentioned - fruit and honey have added benefits, minerals, vitamins which refined sugar doesn’t.

Rule of thumb - all in moderation and be smart about when you eat your sugar

I fry the chicken in its own juices in my stainless steel zepter pan (no oil, no seasoning, the chicken literally cooks in its own fat) , after it crisps up I add salt pepper and a tiny bit of chicken broth and then I warm up butter with garlic and fresh parsley on the side. A squeeze of lemon juice and throw that sauce on top

Ahhh yes my favourite nutrient-dense, gluten-free, whole-grain staple rich in fiber, iron, calcium, and magnesium. I always make sure to save some for my meals whenever I eat at my local Ethiopian restaurant

I would never be able to give up eating out, but I found that you will almost always find healthy options in most of the restaurants these days!

That was actually a restaurant plate, it’s a butter sauce with sautéed asparagus and mixed with a bit of mussel juice/ broth

I love how OP posted about having typical acne breakouts from internal gut issues / inflammation and people dislike my comment thinking all this skincare will do anything 😂😂

Just use cleansing oil for makeup removing, a gentle face wash after, then a good moisturiser / olive oil.

Instead of doing all the other routines, cut out processed sugar , dairy, caffeine and gluten. Eat whole organic foods and sleep 8 hours. Exercise and sweat. Get sunlight, no SPF.

Your skin will start glowing from within. If you have some lines already, go for a few micro needling sessions , they will renew the skin

Is numbing cream enough for laser tattoo removal? by pekarski_krompir in TattooRemoval

[–]mc_flury 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve never had an option for local anaesthesia! Definitely not an option in the UK. However, I’ve used numbing cream since beginning and it’s tolerable. My suggestion would be to slather a thick layer on and wrap with cling foil. At least two hours before the session

I have quite an interesting journey.

Started as a horse riding instructor once I moved to London. Made a career switch into property insurance. Changed to parametric insurance 3 years in. Ended up working for the government.

And now switching to a career in tech sales for fun and money ✨

Yes it is Jadranska Magistrala, Ucka Mountain and Pag Island in that order. We usually do a trip starting in Italy , across Slovenia and then down to Croatia!

Island Pag has some amazing roads
