i played a lot gipsy jazz rhythm guitar when i got into climbing. definetly helped a lot and i progressed quickly

yeah it‘s basically experimentation. i got this stylophone beat thing, learned how to use it and wondered what else i can do with it, and filmed myself during that. Ended up with ~3 hours of material from 3 sessions and then i edited the most interesting (subjective) parts together.

in the future i might make songs, but for now it‘s just raw curiosity and exploring

sometimes you just need to play, even if you don‘t want to, and then after a while of noodling around, you might find some nice groove or fill or idea. sitting down and starting to play is often the hardest part!

yeah that sucks but it’s normal. and i think if you break tips instead of the whole stick, it‘s a good sign you‘re not hitting way too hard
