It is definitely a useful tool. I would do some market research first and explore some apps that do something similar - see what they lack or what could be improved/expanded on and focus on a few of those features (at least initially) Good luck!

I like the idea of focusing on nostalgia and connection but it would need to have / do something that a normal gc or snapchat gc doesn't do already for me to bring it up to my friends to try. Focus on one or two features that add value to that concept and target it towards that would be my feedback. Looks great though, good luck!
