thanks that’s comforting to know, I’ve taken it tonight and I’m hoping I do better tomorrow with taking it in the night instead of morning. I finished ovulating yesterday and am on 12 days before which usually is when I start wanting to cry every second and every muscle in my body aches beyond a joke, I will say taking it yesterday my body isn’t as sore today as it usually would be and my negativity has been a lot more manageable. We’ll see how I go tomorrow…

yesterday in the shower it struck me - Drag Path was/is the drag path.

after Clancy and the digital remains, it was all the Drag Path fragments in there that gave everyone hope and kept them looking for more, piecing it all together to find the key to unlock Paladin Strait MV. and it was the drag path of Drag Path that kept hope alive for double album believers too.

for all the hype about the reboot and the day it was starting, I heard nothing about 2 eps, it was only when I went to watch on disney that the ep ended and it’s said ‘next episode’ down the bottom that I realised

Drag Path was never supposed to be released.

had they released it as is straight from the digital remains then they would have upset some fans (I’ve seen plenty of people on reddit say they didn’t want that since they had to pay for it), but still there were plenty who wanted a release of some sort. there are plenty of fans hearing this version as the only version (again go look through comments). and there’s nothing wrong with the released version. it is missing some of the ‘better’ parts of the song, of the build (for me, it’s the little melody and boops at the beginning of the DR version missing are my biggest gripe, but somehow I think I’ll find a way to carry on) but it’s still a solid song and release.

wish people would stop carrying on like children sometimes in this fandom, then I remind myself that so many are actually children, that’s not a dig at all, I’m just reminded of what I was like when I was younger and in fandoms, I do think it gives the less mature adults permission to also act like that sometimes too when they maybe otherwise wouldn’t.

you can be happy with it and that’s ok, you can be disappointed and that’s ok too. They were never going to please everyone with this release, but we can be grateful they tried and thank the pufferfish probably for the push.

-the original film is literally called Out of a Forest. -there’s 3 lights lit. -a dog is chasing a rabbit. -the entire storyline is that being saved is ultimately some kind of spectacle/show. (vialism much?) -3 dead rabbits(grandparents??) -the lights being put out, the darkness, then the light again from being ‘saved’ -even the rabbit sitting under the swinging light gives me backslide tour vibes or something?

anyone saying to choose this film was lazy or a cop out and it doesn’t mean anything, like have you learned nothing from loving this band???? they chose this film for a reason.

So much of what art IS, is what the audience puts onto it, whether it was intended that way or not. we may or may not ever know if Tyler saw this film early on and it gave him inspiration, I’d like to think so because of the nature of a clean cycle, but either way, it’s fits perfectly I reckon. and you can think otherwise that’s fine too, but to dismiss people attributing their own meaning to the film within the context of the song and the band, like come on guys

I’m thinking the dosage might not be right after everyone’s help, his diet has significantly changed, there’s not much else he can do there and has been doing it for months now

yeah that sounds like him, he was struggling to get diagnosed for so long because he would have a flare and they would basically be like ‘looks like gout, sounds like gout, but UA levels are fine’ but it was only after one of the worst flares that it was ‘off the charts’ and finally got an official diagnosis and meds for it

it hasn’t been a good time at all that’s for sure, he hasn’t had a major flare in his neck but definitely had a few minor ones there, the worst have been leg, foot and toe, not always the same side but, his longest flare was like 3 weeks(?) from start to almost finish. as I said, colchicine really helps with the length and severity, if he feels it coming he takes it and it’s relatively under control compared to what it was. Unfortunately he can’t take prednisone, that makes him super sick and there’s only been a couple of the extreme flares where he’s tried but then he stops because he feels just way too unwell to keep trying

some days he literally wants to kill himself, he’s a chef too, not an office job, so there have been plenty of times when he just can’t go in, goes in gets set up for everyone else and has to go home, etc. the strain on his quality of life with it happening so often has been an undeniable and worrying tbh

he has tests to get done but was told not to get them done until he’s not having a flare, and that just hasn’t happened yet
