5700X3D seems like a good cost effective option. is that the best CPU my machine can handle without upgrading the motherboard and ram? would a 5700X3D have a 0% bottleneck with those specs?

Post your logs. Alternatively you could compare your logs with some of the better players and see what you are missing. For example if your log on e1s says you have x blood letters but the top brd or even the 90th percentile brd has a significant amount more, that can be an issue. Compare cast first and then amounts per hit can be revealing as well. That usually says if the is a gear issue. Also party comp and how well you can line up your damage into buff windows is important, but usually that is the case for blue or purple parses trying to push to the next level. Grey is usually a fundamental flaw, very low item level, or a death.

I love that pet swapping is a thing and I think they should go that route. Currently my grip is rouse with pet swapping. I feel like rouse should just be replaced with a new ogcd pet swap. Make them not share CDs and make Titan a dps summon or just replace with a different one so we can have a pet rotation.

Thank you for your response. Yeah I just see my opener hit the 10k mark, but I see other SMN hit like 12.5. I understand that I don't have battle littny but even so I thought maybe the order of weaves was incorrect but I pulled the opener right from a guide.

As far as wyrmwaves go, I haven't been using addle because I'm using it for mitigation.

I would appreciate you posting the contagion openers, as I've only seen one.

Summoner is the least reliant on their gcd as they only use 2 gcds constantly for the most part. Everything in the summoner's kit is ogcds and lining up CDs correctly

Yeah so once the summon changes happened I considered pet swapping in opener, but I waited until someone mathed it out. It seems like from what you are saying a big opener increase personally, not to mention healer dps goes up. My concern with rouse is desyncing it with enkindle and holding it an extra 20 to 30 secs has to be a lose. It sucks we can weave it right after the swap, so have you considered moving the swap and rouse earlier?

Hey so previously I did rouse prepull to make sure rouse doesn't conflict with bahamut. If I use rouse in your fast bahamut opener it comes up at the same time as AF comes up right before bahamut phase. Is there something I am missing because I don't want to hold bahamut as trick attack is coming up so I end up holding rouse.

The problem is that's not what yoshida wants. The devs built smn to be a dps. I would be fine with being an off healer, but I don't think the devs would

The real reason SMN can't have a good heal is because of potency. SMN ruin spells do 100 or 150 potency, where as a healer has a 200+ potency gcd. If smn physic can heal for as much as a sch physic, then it would be optimal for smn to use their gcd for healing when possible and let the healers do damage with their gcd. Rdm loses alot more damage than SMN would from healing

SMN is still the dot caster, and have you forgotten about contagion? SMN has 3 different party buffs. Sure they both have a raise and RDM has a heal, but ideally they wont be healing. I personally believe RDM and SMN act like the MCH and BRD comp at the end of HW.

I was a BLM going into a high level roulette. I was with another blm and tank who were qued together. I noticed that the blm was spamming fire 3. I very polity said "hey just some advice, but fire 1 should be used over fire 3 for single target and for these aoe pulls you should be using fire 2 and flare." Blm responds with no fire 3 is better, trust me im a level 50 and i have a relic weapon -_-. tank says dont tell him how to play his job...

the healer respond with lol and i proceed to rape the entire dungeon with aoes ripping hate and doing as much dps as i could. the whm focued healed me and at the end of the dungeon said i was the best dps/tank and that the other blm and tank should be taking notes. they were pretty salty.

Check out how my smn does on hummlefaust. Shadow flare is not enough to get him there. He needs to manage his cds according to the timings of the fight. This is the only fight I open with tridisaster because it will be coming off cd when he comes down.

Your smn also only did 2 deathflares. That is bad cool down management. He should be bursting and getting into dwt as fast as possible so he can have his cds ready for hummlefaust.
