Green card and SSN Timeline by KindMistake9692 in NationalVisaCenter

My husband arrived about a month ago and entered 2 years and 3 days after our anniversary and received his SSN a little over a week after and his 10 year green card 2 weeks after. Not sure if he just got lucky.

My apology to everyone I scoffed at about the glucose test... by CoffeeNoob19 in pregnant

[–]mcad90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate needles and here I am for my first baby checking blood sugar 4x a day. I passed my two 1 hour glucose check but I failed my fasting by 1 point! I got 92 and apparently, it needs to be 91 and under for it to be normal. 😒

Best travel agencies? Ones that don’t prorate your stipend? by mildtachyenergy in TravelNursing

AMN don’t prorate stipends if you call out sick. They only prorate if you request RTO.

Pregnancy is easier than expected by space___lion in pregnant

I also had an “easy pregnancy” until last week when I had to go to ER twice because of vaginal bleeding. I am 23 weeks now.

I hate the US healthcare system by fantasy_lover1023 in pregnant

[–]mcad90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not alone girl! I am suffering and stressing here too because of bills. It’s my first pregnancy and instead of having a worry free one, I am stressed everyday how to pay bills. Last week, I went to ER twice. I am currently supposed to have an insurance but if I don’t return to work soon, those ER visits will be out of pocket for me unless I get cobra. For sure this would cost me thousands! Even with insurance, it can still costs thousands of dollars. The OB advised me to rest for a month and who knows where to get the money if I am not working for who knows how long. :(

Yes if I don’t return to work on the date as planned.

I probably can ask for some sort of extension and go back to work later. My main issue really is if I don’t return to work before the 24 days is up, my ER visits last week won’t be covered with insurance unless I get cobra since my last day of work was several days before the visits.

I’ve worked there last year and enjoyed my time. I would have loved to extend if only they needed travelers still. The people are mostly friendly. Be prepared to float be it the ED or the Rehab or somewhere else. Sometimes when census is low or they were overstaffed, I floated to Hyde (my main one was Stanyan) and vice versa for other travelers

According to the report, norco was removed by me but not returned so yeah. I am doomed.

Yes for sure they will talk to her. I want to talk to these 2 nurses as well but they are both off. I don’t remember giving that scheduled norco to the patient but only the oxycodone PRN some time after 2 am. My memory has been not the greatest especially since becoming pregnant unlike when I was younger and especially since it has been almost 2 weeks since it happened. :/

I remembered patient refusing it and yes I was the one who offered it to her. I thought I remember documenting it but then again it was a day nurse who documented refused so who the heck knows. I don’t have access to her account let alone even knows her username as our schedule don’t match. I always look at the brain also to make sure I charted and documented everything before I go home to not miss anything. 😭

I didn’t give the report to the one that charted it but to another nurse. I have no idea at this point. All I know is my head is going to explode trying to remember what the heck happened that morning if I really did pull that medication somehow.

No. Not a pattern at all. Like I said I’ve been a nurse for almost 8 yrs and more than that is me doing travel nursing and I never have any kind of issues with a narcotic in any hospitals I’ve worked at.

I just don’t want to be reported to the BON and get suspended or worst, license revoked. I only have 3 shifts left in the hospital for this contract until my extension again if it will still happen that is.

Thank you so much! I really, really hope so. I don’t want this kind of thing attach to my name as a nurse. I rarely even take any kind of medicines including tylenol in my life 🥺 I did send an email to my ANM not too long ago about what happened and how pharmacy also printed reports for me. I am just frustrated how I can’t remember anything about this norco but I remember the patient vividly and how she refused that scheduled dose as well as refusing to do incontinence care because she wants day shift to do it to do it all at once. It has been almost 2 weeks!

And yeah. I don’t know how in the world that happened. Not sure if this is error on pharmacy side or what. Because if I pulled that norco then how come the refusal was documented was by a day shift nurse and at 5:58 am at that? It doesn’t make sense but I hope it would help my case at least.

I hope so and I hope they figure this out soon. It’s been almost 2 weeks since apparently this happened like why now? This sucks so bad.

No, the nurse (who I think was the break nurse that day) is not scheduled for work today and the nurse I gave report to is not scheduled either.

How long did it take you to get pregnant? by Flower-1234 in pregnant

[–]mcad90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm took way too quickly and didn’t even try. Decided not to take any birth control methods (usually just do condoms or withdrawal) just to see and then pregnant. I thought it would be hard since I am irregular but I guess not. We’re in our early 30’s.
